s dubb
RichCimini Rich Cimini It's official: Darrelle Revis says, "I'm not going to play this week." Says hammy worse than he originally thought. #Jets Wow... just f*ckin Wow. Way to hold out and injury yourself. Moron!

JiF
Ha!!! This was predicted by many. Well except Bit who claims Mevi$ has the greatest offseason program in the history of sports and would never be out of shape or get injured because of it. Dont rush him back, we are fine without him. Actually, we started winning the second he hit the bench. Give him to the buy week. We really wont need him before then...but definitely will coming out of the buy against Green Bay. You dont rush a hammy and luckily the Jets are good enough to win without the greatest CB to ever play the game.

Klecko73isGod
I hate to defend Revis because I am convinced the injury is to his ego and not him hamstring and I also know that I will be killed as a homer for merely suggesting that I am defending him but he could have just as easily pulled a hamstring had he been in camp. Guys who had full training camps pull hammys all the time.

JetsFanInDenver
Revis plan for this season: 1. Not having to sweat a training camp. Check. 2. Big money contract. Check. 3. Not having to work for that contract. Check.

Jbro22
Hands down my least favorite Jet of all time. Glad I never stopped hating on him. And I'll gladly welcome all of you back to the darkside. Let him rot. Even when he's 100%.
slats
No doubt missing camp hurt Revis. WoodME John$on should've come up with the guaranteed money he was always willing to pay a month sooner. This was preventable.
bitonti
i dont understand how a lack of camp guarantees injury. Pace went to camp, where is he? Jenkins went to camp, his career might be over. injuries happen, it's football.

Especially considering that most of the guys bashing him now will be praising his name in about 3 weeks. Revis is evil he has missed one whole game and will miss another that most of the people here think he should sit out for as well.

PatsFanTX
I am happy it is only his hamstring. Only his hamstring? That is one of the worst injuries a CB could have. They take weeks to fully heal and he could tweak it again at any point in the season. This injury could linger the entire season.
SoFlaJets
we should have given him the 160 million for 10 years that he asked for and maybe we would have won the last 2 division games...oh wait...nevermind

It is one of the most aggravating injuries you can get and needs more than just two weeks to fully heal. He can retweak at any time or even worse tear it. It is something that when he does come back we are all going to have to hold our breath and hope that he doesn't re-injure it.
