Irish Jet
Is going to send a team to the playoffs with a losing record. Just an AWFUL division!
Jetsfan80
I still like the Niners to win it. That's how ridiculously bad it is.
Greenranger
The Cards really showed up to play San Diego today. They only gave up 41 pts.

Greenranger
The 1st place Rams. Wow. and the crazy part is the NFC West team usually wins at least one game in the playoffs. Which is fine by me, I'd be happy for the Jets to beat the 6-10 49ers in the Super Bowl.
gangreenman
Is going to send a team to the playoffs with a losing record. Just an AWFUL division! Has that ever happened before? A team with a losing record in the playoffs? I understand that it is nearly impossible...As the winner of the division has to win at least four of six games. Meaning they'd have to go 3-7 in non-divisional games in order to finish with a losing record...

It happened in the strike year of 1982, the Browns and Lions both went 4-5 and were the 8 seed in their respective conferences.
