SoFlaJets
when the Diva/Douchebag comes back (hopefully) next week. Drew Coleman played lights out and he at least knows to turn around when the ball is in the air-give him some time out

Jetsfan80
Play the match-ups. Let Wilson and Coleman share time at the nickle, with Coleman going up against veterans/slot receiver types and Wilson going up against younger guys.

flgreen
yea but in the meantime I trust Drew Coleman more-the Jets did the same thing to Lowery his rookie year fg That’s fine. Coleman is playing well. Wilson has twice the talent. The Kids struggling in his rookie season, he needs the reps . He is going to be an excellent CB, but needs the reps right now

He is going to be an excellent CB, but needs the reps right now he's really been costing us-REVIS has been the real culprit though who has been costing us-forcing Wilson to play more than we had wanted him to play-Drew has been playing better right now though bro...play the guy who is playing better not the guy who was drafted higher

Larz
if mevi$ returns, he will more than likely go down to the 4th corner spot or maybe even deeper I saw lowery playing today so his reps are in serious jeopardy
Integrity28
We are winning games gentlemen. Don't be greedy. Complaining about not winning by enough of a landslide is what Colts and Patriots fans do. Just be happy with the W.
Jbro22
I think this is more of a mental issue than a physical one. Still not worried about Wilson. If he didn't have sweet dreads I might be though.
stoicsentry
Wilson is fine. Coleman might be further along just in terms of experience so if you want to go with him as nickel for now that's fine, but Wilson is alright. He's actually looked very good in coverage, just having a tough time figuring out when to turn around so far.. but he's going to be the real deal. SenorGato
Shoulda drafted Linval Joseph. Then it'd be different.

Jetsfan80
not saying he's going to suck forever, but in 4 games what he has done to make you think he'll be fine? Enough to tell us that he has the physical tools and that his issues can be fixed in due time. For once we'll need to have patience with a rookie. Not to be confused with the Gholston-like patience that Bitonti has, because he's a BUST in every sense of the word. Wilson has potential, he's just raw. kelticwizard
In Revis' first few games his rookie year, he was picked on by opposing QBs as well. Didn't last long, obviously, but it did happen at the beginning.
CobraVerde
FOR A ROOKIE, Wilson is doing fine. he is going to get picked on cause youre not going to go to Cromartie who is a pro bowl CB and playing really good right now. i agree for him its a matter of the mental matching the physical. This isnt Bosie State boys and girls this is the NFL. EVERYONE GETS BURNED.

slats
not saying he's going to suck forever, but in 4 games what he has done to make you think he'll be fine? He's generally right on top of his man, so it would seem that he has the physical skills needed to play the position. He just needs to develop better ball awareness. Jets put a lot of pressure on their CB's. Not many NFL veterans are up to the task the Jets are asking of the rookie. It's almost unfair to judge him in this defense, but he'll get better. kelticwizard
The pendulum certainly swings back and forth on this board. Just a few weeks ago when Darelle was holding out, people were posting that since we had a great cover corner in Cromartie and such a talented number one draft choice for CB in Kyle Wilson, we should ship Revis' butt out of here for draft choices. Now people are busting a gut because Revis can't be in the game a couple of weeks thereby making us play a slug like Wilson, who's killing us. Will people please make up their minds? Kid needs to have better sense of where the ball is in the air, but talk about a baptism by fire. YIKES. NOBODY will be happier to see Revis back than Kyle Wilson, nobody!! sh4dy15
If he would just turn his head and look at the ball he wouldnt be that bad! Once Revis is back he'll get better playing in different packages and playing weaker recievers.
