Santonio Holmes.

I think he's going to be big, maybe even huge, but I just don't see anyone making a bigger impact than Ladanian right now. He is flat out just doing everything you could possibly want your starting back to do.

341 yards rushing on 56 carries for an average of 6.1 with 3 tds.

12 receptions for 82 yards.

If he ends up the season with 1500+ offensive yards and 10+ tds, Tanny should get blown my AJ Smith.

You think its been fun watching the Jets average over 30 points a game the last 3 weeks? Just wait until our BEST newcomer of the offseason becomes active next weekend against the Vikings. Let's GO!!!!

Let's not count our hamstrings until they've hatched.

LT is playing out of his mind right now, no doubt about it. But he won't keep up this pace. He simply can't. He's 31 years old and when your workhorse RB hits the wall, the decline happens quickly. When that time comes, its nice to know our passing game has all the talent it could possibly need to win purely through the air. Holmes, Keller, Edwards, Cotchery.....we're going to destroy people.

I understand the sentiment that he's on the wrong side of 30, but he simply is not showing any signs of slowing down. He's on pace for only 272 touches, which would be the 2nd least in his entire career, only to last season. If we can keep his touches to 17 a game, than I think we can see this type of efficiency all year long.

But you're definitely right, it'll be nice to know that our passing attack is only going to get better. It's not just that he's a phenomenal receiver, but adds a different dimension to our offense, that elite deep threat. If our offense keeps on clicking, I easily see us being a top 5 scoring offense this year. I'm just waiting to see how we respond from Sanchez's first INT, it's going to happen, I just want to see if he can rally and not let it bother him.

Just something i looked up real quick..his total touches in all his season. I think around 270 would be an ideal amount for him.

You do realize the Vikings are a much better team than the Bills, right?

you do realize the Vikings suck a$$ early on and Favre looks like a grandpa out there right?

JETS win!

That being said, I just got a figurative boner watching Holmes! Can't effing wait!

They've had a bye week to rest up some of their injuries, Peterson is a beast that even our defense will have trouble with, and Favre didn't look like an old man in week 3. To be sure though, they are MUCH less threatening as long as Sidney Rice remains on the sidelines. If Revis and Pace are healthy, we can make them a one-dimensional team.

And that says nothing about their defense that has been, to this point, very much vanilla.

This. They have us after a bye week. I'm just glad this game is at home and that Rice is out. I feel like our run defense has been outstanding this year, but AP is special.

Which is why it'll be nice to get an early lead with Holmes and the passing game so the Vikings can't run like crazy. The minute the Vikings are forced to stop running the rock, they're done.

He's going to open up this offense. Edwards and Keller should get even better too. I actually think Holmes will benefit Edwards more than anybody. With Holmes they can run a legit spread passing game...It should kick a$$ unless a little someone starts calling bad plays again.

With Holmes we can have the most complete offense in the league. This guy borders on elite and will do everything you want a WR to do. Get the ball in his hands and watch the magic happen.

Always was one of my favorite WR's, he's like Steve Smith (Carolina) and I can't ******* wait to see the impact he has on this team.

Basically. I'd feel more confident if they had played this week. It's going to be a tough game. I can see their d line giving us fits. Jared Allen anyone?

F*ck Jared Allen. Kevin Williams is the key to their whole DL. Him against Slauson may prove to not be good times.

I want the MNF game to showcase the D anyway...Pace is coming back...we're facing a QB who pissed on the organization...Pryce is on the DL...hopefully Ellis gets healthy...shutting out AD and hitting Favre would be one more announcement to the league that this is the scariest D in the league.

BUMP.

ESPN is projecting Holmes to end up catching 2 balls for 31 yards this week. What say you fine people?

I think Sanchez is gonna have a HUGE game and break his records Monday night. The biggest thing Holmes is going to do is open up Edwards and Cotchery, once we go to them a few times they'll stop doubling and that when Holmes is gonna be a crazy weapon.

I know this might seem a little crazy but I say Holmes and Edwards 40+, each with a TD and Keller 80+ with a td. That said, I'm thinking they're gonna put up some points Monday.

I think they still have to work him into the mix gradually, he'll have to catch up to game speed and he may actually be most effective as a decoy of sorts monday night with maybe 5-7 targets

I think we'll see the biggest impact after the bye week

what a group

I think this is going to be a great game to watch. I think both running games will be shut down and it's going to come down to Sanchez v. Favre. This could be the game we look back on where Sanchez took a huge leap forward toward being among the elite players at the position. Or he could throw five picks. Either way, great game to watch.

Revis is going to have a giant target on his back, bro. Moss is going to want to embarrass him, Childress is going to want to test his hamstring and Favre doesn't care about interceptions. It wouldn't surprise me if they target Moss 10+ times. Hopefully Revis can get his hands on a few of them. As for Pace, it'll be interesting to see what kind of shape he's in. How much cardio could he have been doing with a bad foot? This could be party-time for Jason Taylor, though. McKinnie is semi-retired.

Honestly, I'm more worried about Harvin. I think we're going to put Revis on Moss, and I think Cro on Harvin is a TERRIBLE matchup. I hope Revis bounces back and forth between Moss and Harvin; Cro did well against Moss in the New England game.
