Irish Jet
Crazy game. Both QB's had game ending picks dropped. Great to see the Jags win. That's shaping up to be some division. Not many teams in the AFC looking any better than us right now, if any. Baltimore and Pittsburgh are going to be strong and I like our matchups against those teams. Indy, New England, San Diego - Some of the regular AFC superpowers - None of them have been overly impressive.
Jetsfan80
Another contender falls back to the pack a bit. At the moment, its us, the Ravens, Steelers, Texans and Chiefs duking it out for AFC supremacy. And among that group, only the Ravens and Steelers scare me. However, the Pats and Colts will be back near the top soon enough.

I personally just do not see a more balanced offense than ours right now. We have two different style RBs, both capable of carrying the load, a TE who's emerging as a big time playmaker, WRs in Braylon, Cotchery and now Holmes all of whom bring different things to the table. If Sanchez is turning the corner, which looks like he is maturing, he's going to have possibly the best weapons at his disposal of any team in the league. I'm not trying to sound like too much of a homer but I am just serioualy in shock of the type of talent we have in our skill positions on offense; LT, Braylon, Cotch, Keller, Holmes are all top options on most teams. Jetsfan80
Home field advantage in playoffs all but a lock for us There, I said it We'll have to finish with a better record than the Ravens for that to be the case. At the moment, the Ravens are in better position than us for homefield, as are the undefeated Chiefs. And it goes without saying, its a long season and we'll see what happens. Maxman
Did anyone see this game? The Jaguars seemed content to let time run out when the got the ball back, they ran on 1st down and gained 8 yards. 2nd and 2 around their own 33 they weren't moving fast. The Colts took a time out. The Colts took a time out. The Jaguars made them pay and I love it. Have no idea why the Colts would take a time out. I think there was like 30 seconds left. Unreal, so glad the Colts decision led to their loss.

As this was happening I was text messaging my brother questioning it but he blew up my phone first, cauldwell is horrendous, Peyton will have him out of there after this yr and they will bring in some defensive specialist to stay out of his way and hold the opponent under 30. When these bad coaches inherit good teams it usually doesn't rear its head until year 2, even rich kotite made the playoffs after he inherited buddy ryans eagles, and Herman after vermeil left the chiefs, so on so on

Honestly it was like they were taunting the Jags. The best belt for the Colts was to head into overtime. Although if the Colts hang on to that ball on defense this might seem like a great move. Just really surprised me though.
