lancemehl
Who was saying he's awful? Did you see my man bulldozing for LT and green today? and the nice grab for a first down...(give the dog a bone...)Rex knows, man! lol That was his pick! Do you guys really realize who Rex is? This dude's first memories at 6 was his dad coaching who? The 68 jets! He was a defensive(LB) coach, the same defense that stuffed the colts in a certain super bowl. So his first football team was the jets. Then he got to hang out with dad at work and listen to him talk about..oh, the purple people eaters he coached, then dad told him about the 4-6 defense he created. Then, when he was in his twenties he got to hang with Dad and Uncle Mike(Ditka) as pops organized the greatest defense in football history. He watched dad get carried off the field by the 85 Bears defense. Then dad finally got a promotion and he got to teach Rex how to pick players, by drafting guys like Seth Joyner,Cris Carter, Eric Allen, Cris Carter, Fred Barnett, Keith Jackson..I think Randall. Then a quick stint winning 11 games with houston and dad got to run another team. So, pops decided to gave Rex and his brother coaching jobs in the NFL for their birthday. hahaha now do I have to mention that he ran what is popularly known as the 2nd best defense ever.......The dude was born for this, man!!! Eric Mangini??!! hahaha
BroadwayJoe12
"Concrete" Connor...sorry, had to... had himself a great game. You can see he's going to be slowly implemented more and more into this offense as the season progresses. I'm liking what I see.. that one cutback play to the right with he and LT was just brilliant. Jets Voice of Reason
Having two FBs seemed like a waste to me, but we use the FB so much in our offense that it's a nice luxury to have two. It's such a demanding position that splitting the load between two guys will end up helping both of them. Can you imagine what a pain in the a$$ it would be in the 4th quarter to see a relatively fresh John Conner coming to block you?

Jets Voice of Reason
TRich isn't going to get cut. He's still productive and he has way too many supporters in the coaching staff for him to get cut this year.
