BroadwayJoe12
I just hope he's 100%, I really don't feel like listening to this for the next 13 weeks. Harvin is an x factor and shiancoe is a legit threat seeing as how we've struggled covering the TEs, but I really don't see how having Revis back, if he's not 100%, is the linchpin to this win. Obviously it'll be to try to contain AD and make them a more one dimensional passing attack, which is easier said than done watching him run this year. However, this game doesn't scare me nearly as much as the packers following our bye week. I just don't want a lingering hammy over our head all season. I feel pretty good about Pace returning next week, but for Revis i'll believe it when I see it. Though he does have the extra day to test it out/rest it. Irish Jet
The NFL should intervene. It's at the point where adding Pace, Revis and Holmes to the roster is simply unfair.

Bruce Banner
I wonder if Revis would have gained or lost money if his holdout went into the season. The team as a whole doesn't seem to need him but the secondary is currently the weakest unit on the team, that includes cheerleaders and guys who wash the uniforms. Matt39
Buffalo is god awful. We could have played without a secondary and still won. Revis is still the best player on the team and will need him to beat Minny and Denver.

sh4dy15
He's more valuable then we realize right now. Think this defense is playing good now? Wait until we can blitz even more knowing he's in the secondary. To say he's overrated makes no sense, he's the best shut down corner in the league. You can be mad that he hurt himself mainly because of sitting out the pre-season but regardless he is still Revis and will make other teams best receivers non existant. JiF
Having your best player never hurts. It did week 1 . Kidding. Obviously we are better with the guy, but the thought that we "need" Mevis to win any single game, should be long gone even for the biggest of his supporters. We clearly dont "need" him to win. Just out of curiosity...how could you possibly blitz anymore than we already have this season? The thought that we have scaled back on the blitz is only accurate in the Dolphags game. Every other game this season has been pretty classic Rex even without Mevis.

BroadwayJoe12
+1 I'd sit Revis for another week if I was Rex. The Vikes receiving corps is hurting. And Favre looks like the Bad Favre this year. I think the loss of Rice and Chester taylor is absolutely killing their offense right now. I really don't see that much of a difference in Favre's decision making this year, just that last year, when in doubt, he would throw it up to Rice even if he was covered. Favre has said many times, that he trusted Rice so much that he would force it into single or double coverage, because he knew Rice would either make a lay or stop them from making a play. He also doesn't have his 3rd down safety valve in taylor, who was good for 44 catches out of the backfield last year. I'm not worried, but i would bet with this extra week to prepare, he and his receivers are going to be on a better page and have their timing down more. I would expect their offense to look much better against us, but nothing that we can't handle should take advantage of the one or two times he gives us the opportunity for an int.
