Jetsfan80
Good. Now we don't have to worry about the Jets using up a roster spot to get him back.

#27TheDominator
Clowney will put up more numbers the rest of the season than Dwayne Jarrett did in his entire career. Jarrett being tall and from USC scares me. I hope the Jets don't go near him. That might be the one positive of Edwards arrest.

Bergen Jet
What is the record for losing practice squad players to other teams in a single season? We are getting raided left and right. All it tells me is that our team is good enough that the players not good enough to make the cut are NFL caliber players.

When your practice squad is better than other team's active rosters, you know you're in damn good shape. That said, part of it is also the Jets clearly have some serious strength at scouting out RBs, as they've had teams pilfering their PS RBs for years now. Hell, the Giants do it every time they need a new RB.

Your ineffectiveness is a major reason we had to go out and make a trade, twice, for WR help!

Clearly the Jets would've much rather given up multiple draft picks than develop Clowney, so they didn't let him run different routes or get involved. It's pretty obvious. sirlancemehlot
I like Clowney. He'd have been a #2 here during some of the leaner years. He had no shot this year with Holmes, Edwards, Cotch and Smith--we are deep at WR. Hopefully the Clown Man can have a career as a #3 guy and keep up the charity work and be a positive influence to the underpriviledged. He's a good person, though a mediocre WR. He's a good guy, and if he gets some success he'll parlay that into more charity work for himself. I really hope he proves #27 right.

#27TheDominator
He couldn't beat out Chansi Stuckey or Brad Smith for significant playing time at the WR spot. Enough said. Chansi Stuckey is a quality NFL WR. He may only be a #3, but the guy can play and Sanchez missed him after the trade last year. Brad Smith never really beat Clowney out as a WR, but stays active because of the other things he does, which include ST. Clowney may never rise above the level of JAG in the NFL, but he can play WR. Even if he doesn't excel, he doesn't "suck". We'll see how he pans out in Carolina - maybe he'll rise to the challenge, maybe he won't able to figure out the playbook. I just find it amazing that so many people hate the guy and can't accept that he might be able to do things they haven't seen yet when Brian Schottenheimer is everybody's favorite whipping boy. lancemehl
Oh, yes, I forgot, we all hate Clowney too. lol Idk, that one 22 yard catch and extra effort to get a few more yards and get out of bounds to set up a field goal at the half (they they blew with a penalty) was good enough for me not to say "**** Clowney" lol Is this the Borderline Personality Jets board? lol
