'Favre' comes on strong to Jets gal in voicemails: report

Gray-haired gridiron grandaddy Brett Favre did not deny today that he left voice mail messages propositioning a sexy TV sports personality shortly after he joined the Jets in 2008.

"I'm not getting into that. I've got my hands full with the Jets," Favre, 40, now the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings said yesterday in response to a question posed by a Post reporter specifically about the voice mails.

It sure sounds like NFL legend Brett Favre propositioning busty Jenn Sterger, a former Jets sideline reporter and Maxim model in voice mails alleged to have been left for her last year when both worked for Gang Green.

The voice mails and other messages allegedly from Favre first appeared on the sports blog, Deadspin.

Sterger, 26, is currently a TV host on The Daily Line, a nightly sports roundup that airs on cable’s Versus network.

The voicemails and other messages were posted yesterday in a 2-minute video on Deadspin, which alleges that Favre, 40, a married father of three — and a grandfather — likely tried to seduce the buxom beauty.

In a voice mail to Sterger a man says, "Send me a text, I’d love to see you tonight."

In another what sounds like the same man says, "Jenn.¤.¤. just got done with practice, got meetings here for a couple more hours, then I’m going back to the hotel to just chill, so send me a text."

Sterger’s manager, Phil Reese said the almost too hot for TV host had no comment yesterday and denied that she had supplied the Blog with the alleged messages from Favre.

Brett Favre allegedly sent sex photos to Jets sideline reporter

More Jen: http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/brett_got_sexty_with_gal_report_VF2AzNMERDvonzUIqZWuLO#ixzz11lICGpRB

He went deep and came up short.

Former Jet quarterback Brett Favre allegedly threw a Hail Mary pass to a comely young sideline reporter for the team -- sending her an embarrassing slew of steamy propositions and lewd photos, according to a sports-news Web site.

The voice mails and MySpace messages -- as well as three raunchy pictures of a man's genitals -- were posted in a cringe-inducing two-minute video on the sports blog Dead spin.com.

The string of missives and voice mails was purportedly an attempt by the married grandfather to charm buxom brunette beauty Jennifer Sterger, who is currently a co- host of "The Daily Line," a nightly sports roundup that airs on cable's Versus network.

The gray-haired grid great sidestepped questions yesterday at a press confer ence in Minnesota, where he now plays for the Vi kings, who will play the Jets Monday night. "I'm not getting into that.

I've got my hands full with the Jets," a stone- faced Favre, 40, said about the Deadspin report.

The gravelly voice caught on tape sounds remarkably like the quarterback propositioning Ster ger, 26, a former Playboy pinup, in voice mails from 2008, when both were with Gang Green.

In one, Favre alle gedly drones, "Just got done with practice. Got meetings here for a couple more hours, then I'm going back to the hotel to just chill.

"So send me a text. So I'll be in the building for a couple of hours. But, uh, I know [unintelligible] came up and asked ya for your number or gave you my number. But I understand. Send me a text. I'd love to see you tonight. All right, talk to you later. Bye."

Deadspin reported the Maxim model would not comment on the record about the messages, but told the site last winter that she joked to a Jet exec that she wouldn't date someone as high-profile as Favre because she "might end up in a garbage can."

Shortly after she made that comment, she received another voice mail from a deep-voiced desperado.

"So, in some garbage can, huh? That what you think I think of ya? Hmm, all right, I'm still trying. Just got done with practice. I'll try the other phone. If you could make it, it'd be great. All right, later."

A MySpace message to Sterger, purported to be from Favre, was first posted by Deadspin last summer. It was sent to Sterger by someone with the tag "Screaming Lord Byron."

"I saw you in the tunnel at the game last week got your name from front-office person.

I'm new to team with gray hair all the info I can give," the message read. Sterger allegedly told Deadspin in August that she didn't want her name attached to the tawdry tale and that Favre wasn't her type.

"I don't roll that way. That way meaning old . . . or married," according to an e-mail the blog reprinted.

Sterger's manager, Phil Reese, told The Post the almost too-hot-for-TV hostess had no comment yesterday, and denied she had provided the messages to the site.

The Post sent a detailed e-mail message to Favre's agent outlining the allegations, and a message was left with his assistant, although the agent did not respond to the questions.

I hope this shakes things up for him, but most likely it's not even being paid attention to in Minn. Only the NY media makes big deals over things like this. They are all hoping favre plays well and are rooting for him over there. They probably will help keep this quiet before the big Mon night game.

He married his high school sweetheart, and he's not even denying this.

Do you really think his wife is not going to find out, and that she can't give him hell over this in Minn?

Really?

Check this out. Favre was asked about this in a press conference and the VIkings deleted it from the transcript:

Sterger question scrubbed out of Favre transcript

Posted by Mike Florio on October 7, 2010 7:31 PM ET In early August, Deadspin posted an item regarding allegations from former Jets in-house sideline reporter Jenn Sterger, who claimed that former Jets quarterback Brett Favre pursued her romantically -- and sent her photos of a certain part of his anatomy unrelated to throwing a football.

At no point after the story emerged did anyone in the media ask Favre about the story.

Earlier today, Deadspin posted audio of voice messages that Favre allegedly left for Sterger and images that he allegedly texted.

During a Thursday afternoon press conference, which we encourage you to watch while searching for unintended audible and visual double entendres, Favre finally was asked about the situation. He declined to address it and, in so doing, failed to deny any of it.

Fine. That's his prerogative. But the situation got more interesting when, as Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald points out, the Vikings P.R. staff scrubbed the question and answer out of the circulated transcript of Favre's remarks.

Video on the Vikings website continues to include the question and answer.

Though major media outlets like ESPN, which will be broadcasting Monday night's Vikings-Jets game and knows a thing or two about photos of certain body parts being shared among coworkers, can try to ignore the story by simply disregarding the Deadspin item, the asking of the question at a press conference -- and the insertion of an answer by Favre -- makes the omission of any mention of the situation more glaring.

Which may explain the decision to leave the question and answer out of the transcript.

If the Jets were investigated for cat calling a female reporter when she didn't file the complaint, Favre should be investigated for this. Maybe it wasn't him (yeah right) but he should have to answer this if he sent nude photos unsolicited.

Jen said if she hooked up with Favre, she would end up in a garbage can.

Do you think she knew something, and that brett has indeed disposed of other women this way?

Perhaps I should have saved this for lancemehl to start a thread with.

He's not in NY. People in MINN care more about the Vikings winning than they are with finding the truth about Favre's sex life.

What is this world coming to where an old guy, lonely and far from home, can't harrass and send cock shots to a coworker who just happens to be young and attractive.

He should forever be known as the creepy old guy on the tractor!

Can't wait to get home and click on that link! It better not be dead link Brooklyn. :D

This gal is way ahead of the curve.

There is a tab there for pictures, not sure if they show her nude ones, but if you do an image search of her name, you'll get to see her boobies.
