You think Revis' words are the "reason" Moss is going to show up? lol In “Moss Think” it’s hard to say. Moss got his way in getting out of NE, but he really didn’t get what he wants. Still no contract extension. It’s hard to say what he is thinking. It is really bad timing for Revis to be calling him out when he may, or may not be playing. If he is playing odds are he won’t be at the top of his game. I agree with Larz “let sleeping slouches lie”

Worst game of his last season still happens to be a heck of a game. Holding Reggie Wayne to 55 yards in their championship game isn't too shaby...not his fault collie and garcon burned the rest of our secondary. This also is the same guy who had 2 ints and shut down chad johnson for the second straight game in the playoffs. All he did was play big when we needed him and this hate on him is insanely irrational. He's missed what, 2.5 games in 3 years?? I hated him holding out too, but people are defending Randy Moss now in order to vilify Revis...it's like I'm in bizaro world.

As we all know this is a “what have you done for me lately game?” We are going into week five, and so far he hasn’t done squat except run his mouth. I doubt he is in football shape yet. Keep in mind that his uncle was one of the dominating DL in the NFL. After he got his contract he really was never the same player again. I’m not saying Revis is heading down the same road, but I don’t like the way it is starting. Reestablish your self as the #1 CB in the NFL, then shoot your mouth off again. I'm a huge Jets fan and there's no way I can possibly point to Revis as the more professional of the two. Morally and in terms of class Moss is leagues ahead of Revis. And as a football player, Moss is also leagues ahead of Revis as well. It will take Revis a decade of being the best at his position to be considered on the same level as Moss. True, but it's probably more attributable to the fact that he sat out a full season, rather than that he got his money and quit. Revis has been a hard worker in his career, studying film of the receivers he's going to face in the upcoming season over his offseason (for instance). There's nothing in his history that suggests he's a take the money and hobble to the sidelines kinda guy. He got himself another short contract to get himself in place for another big payday in a couple years. He won't get that without playing extremely well. And everyone agrees that Revis likes to get paid.

I'm sorry, I forgot how the last 4 weeks of this past season negates everything that Moss has done in his career. Moss as being more professional than Revis??? The same Moss who had his acceptance to Notre Dame rescinded due to being in a high school fight (yes he was helping a friend who was called a racial slur, but it left a kid hospitalized), than after going to FSU he tested positive for weed, violating his probation and kicked out of FSU...which back in the days of Bobby Bowden, was pretty hard, fined for squirting a ref with a water bottle, traded to oakland and basically mailing in two seasons their because the team was terrible, pretended to moon green bay and than even as recent as last year, saying how their is no such thing as a "true shut down corner" and that with safety help he could be doing the same thing, if not better than what revis did?? Are we talking about the same guy here. This to you is considered being professional?? Moss has only had decent words to say about Revis in the last four weeks, before that he denied Revis his dues and belittled his accomplishments. And where are we comparing Revis and Moss as players or in terms of accomplishments?? All Revis has said was randy takes plays off, randy plays when he wants to. Is this not true?? I've loved randy as a player for as long as he's been in the league, but you must be outside your mind if you think that he's more classy or professional than revis. Shut up, do your work and then talk all the sh*t you want, until then just shut it. How exactly is saying that Randy takes plays off and doesn't always go full throttle talking sh*t?? Especially when he continues to say that Randy is an all-world talent. Revis has never said anything about how talented a receiver Randy is, but just says that he takes some plays off, especially how it pertains to their gameplan. For all we know he could have been asked, how do you defend such a weapon like randy?? He answers, well you have to frustrate him early, you need to take him out, because if he gets into the game, he's impossible to stop...yet the reporters only cherry-pick the stories. And it's not as if he's just lounging around doing nothing...he's probably rehabbing crazy hours, in the pool, watching film attending meetings. Yes, he has missed the last two and a half games, but that shouldn't negate everything he's doing during the week. He wants to be on the field and is putting in the work in order to do so. BroadwayJoe12
Revis is a douche. I understand you not liking Revis anymore due to the holdout, but at the same respect, should you not think Moss is a douche for basically doing the same exact thing?? All last year he basically discredited Revis for shutting him down, and now everyone is angry at Revis for being annoyed at that and firing back a little?? Moss might be on the field, but he most certainly takes plays, quarters even full halves of games off....at least when Revis is on the field, he's giving you everything he has. The man played every single snap in the home opener after a handful of practices. Yes, that's his fault, but you certainly didn't see him halfass anything. I just feel that we can not like him, but bad mouthing him and denigrate him in favor of another loud-mouth is a bit much. But, to each their own. TheSage
It's very simple. He opened his mouth, gave Moss BB Board fodder and now he better put up by shutting him down. If he does he's a hero, if not he's got his payday and and the rest of the world can go ------themselves. Just not smart to give the opposition added incentive. Now do me a favor and continue to hate him when he comes out and shuts down everybody the rest of the season. It's a friggin business. Do I think he should have held out. No. Was he wrong. Yes. The Crusher
Revis being a dislikeable dick has nothing to do with Randy Moss. When he decided to try and rape the Jets for every possible dime at the COST of playing the game he gets paid for he became hard to like. Every day he sat out rather than try and get back he was robbing himself and the team of the time he needs to play at the high level he is needed to play. My problem with is he CHOSE this path. To me it's a similar reason why big ol fat Daddy Jenkins hasn;t played 4 games in two season but we all still want him and love the guy. because he had no choice, other than saying yes to be a fatty who loves food. hard to hate a guy for that. Revis chose to try and get paid beyond reason, beyond whats good for the team and it has cost the team. The fact he is talking crap after getting toasted just makes it easier to not like the guy. If he ever becomes the player he was Im sure he'll gain favor again, but i for one think it's far from a lock. I really do. **** you MEVIS.
