There's clearly respect there and it's gone back and forth. Moss first discredited revis' accomplishments by saying he had safety help over the top and that there's no such thing as a shutdown corner and went as far as to say he could do the same thing revis did if he had safety help. Maybe Moss could, i don't doubt his ability. But obviously as a competitor revis isn't going to let this go. Next, during an interview, during a word association, revis referred to randy as a slouch. When asked about it later, he said randy was because that's how he played. But than went on to say he has great respect for him. There's obviously a back and forth, neither of which I really think is that serious. I never saw any of the Pats' fans and media criticize him for giving Revis bulletin board material. I just hope that whatever rest he needs (be it Denver and the bye or beyond that) will help the injury heal and he can get back to being the elite cornerback we came to know. He was not a one year wonder. He was good in 2007 even as a rookie, great in 2008, and unbelievable in 2009. I would gladly take even the 2008 level in the second half.
