The most dropped passes I have ever seen in an NFL game

The problem was Sanchez has a tendency to try to force new guys into the mix. Sanchez threw it to Holmes 10 times and Keller only 5. Hopefully there is more balance there.

But as the OP mentioned, Braylon, Holmes, and Keller had huge drops in this game.

Nevertheless, this Jets team is so resilient it didn't matter.

Of course, Schotty would still be calling the plays right.

Yes, but in that case he'd be going back to his normal self and calling the *wrong* plays. Trying to force the run on that DL is borderline retarded...take what they give by forcing them to respect the pass. One of those 3 passes stays in the receiver's hands and that's even more groundbreaking playcalling than it already is.

When LT and Shonn were ripping off 7 yard runs? Yes we should have kept running it.

That's not how it works.

Running it at them when they should fully expect a run is asking for trouble, especially if you want to try to power Fumble Greene at/around/through that DL in the rain.

Shouldn't have traded up to 5 for a QB then if you wanna play that way. Welcome to the 21st century NFL. The Vikings secondary is by far the weakest part of their D...

my only gripe was that 5 play drive they scored on. sometimes our D looks downright unsettling.

All I know is that Sanchez's arm looks a whooooooole lot different when the weather turns sour and that is not a good thing if we lead the league in f*ckin' wins.

Ok out of those 10 drops maaaaayyyybeeee 2 of those were Sanchez's fault. He played great, I know he ws only 21/44 with 191 yards but you add in even 5 of those drops and he's over 50% comp pct with over 220 passing yards and probably a TD. They shouldnt have thrown 3 passes in that downpour at the end of first half. That Keller pass would have been a TD if it wasnt pouring.

I don't mean to sound condescending but the 7 yard runs work because of the pass and vice versa, I personally think Shotty did a good job keeping the Defense off balance, at least in the first half. But the dropped balls due to the rain hurt. And not for nothing Vikes have a great D.

I am sure that you realize that taking shots down field HELP OPEN UP some of that running game.

This is the same fan base that used to cuss out Pennington because of the checkdown throws that totally crowded the line and hampered the running game, right?
