SenorGato
That man handled Allen like it was nothing...Is it finally alright to acknowledge how good of a LT this guy is? I'm sick of the Long and Thomas knob slobbing that goes around...D'Brick can barely get credit in the fanbase. Also, Damien Woody has lost about 3 steps. I hope Ducasse is ready next year. Rex sounds exhausted.

I thought we're supposed to be all in your face and no one's better than us and all that jazz...F*ck Joe Thomas.

Are you seriously going to cry if people only consider Brick a top 3 LT in the game? I love Joe Thomas, but he is not having the best of seasons. Long has been flawless this season by all accounts. Those 3 guys are almost impossible to seperate. They all do what they do, consistently shut their guy down and be immense in the run game.

Thor99
^^ D'Brick can't run block. Yeah. The Vikings haven't given up 150 yards in 51 games, Brick is horrible. How can you be so wrong all the time?

I don't know where you find all the time to watch these guys every week though, I'll catch a few games or so a season for each team just to get a handle on them and that's about it for me. I tip my hat to you, we don't always agree (and that's a good thing, makes it more interesting) but I take your opinions on players very seriously. Until I see otherwise for myself, I'll take your word that Thomas has fallen off this year. As much as I love football, watching a Browns game seems kind of like a punishment to me and I avoid it if at all possible. The only reason I ever watch Broncos games is I am in utter disbelief every time Orton does well. I haven't watched them play yet this season, I suspect I will be completely mystified if I watch the Broncos again this year, so I don't know how Clady has been this year either. BroadwayJoe12
D'brick absolutely man-handled one of the premier pass rushers in the league. I'm not sure if I saw a single play where a TE or RB chipped allen, it was D'Brick and Allen all game long. Hell of a performance by our LT today. JiFtheOracle
Ferguson might be proving this season he's the best in the league. He's outstanding. I think most of us knew he was top 3, but I'm starting to think he's the best. He was even out there in the running game helping guys get to the edge. FWIW - Jared Allen had a sack and a couple of pressure when he faced the Dolphags. Was he even playing against the Jets?

Good man...Most of both of the other T's reputation comes from very, very strong rookie years. Watching D'Brick work last night was a treat, as it always is. It stuns me how few Jets fans buy into this guy's upside.
L.S. Dylan
Def one of the best dlines we'll play this year. I kinda feel like the only guys who get credit in this league are the ones with big mouths. Brick had a great game last night and I hope he keeps it up. I guess Faneca wasn't holding that line together after all. Slauson is getting better every week.

slats
Does that mean the Jets might not cut him before 2/15/11? As long as he doesn't suffer a career threatening compound leg fracture between now and then, I guess.
RutgersJetFan
Ferguson is miles better than Thomas and Long. It seriously isn't even close. Did you see the one play (somewhere in the second quarter on a pass to Santonio) where he stoned Allen right off the snap, Allen stunts over and tried moving into the gap between Mangold and Moore and Brick was already there waiting for him again? What other LT in the league has quick enough feet for that? Just an unreal play.
DireJet38
Good to see Brick dominate Allen last night. He used to have loads of trouble with a similar player in Schoebel. His legs look a TON stronger.

What other LT in the league has quick enough feet for that? Just an unreal play. That one was sick. He also had another play where Allen tried a spin move on him and it was a good crisp one, but DBrick was able to stick one of his long a$$ arms out and basically stop him dead in his tracks enough to get the other hand on him and push him back 3 yards. That when I was like "DAMN", dude is a beast. Allen was frustrated looking for a hold, but it was clean as could be.

Saw it...loved it...should be on all highlights of the game but wasn't though Gruden and Jaws were kind enough to point it out. When he wasn't step for step with Allen it's because he was a step ahead.
