The "no complaining" thread

No, the Jets didn't play perfect tonight by any stretch of the imagination. But for the "glass half-full" people here on JetNation, this thread is for you. No complaining allowed. Here's some things to be happy about:

1) The New York Jets are 4-1 and alone in 1st place.

2) We're 3-0 in the division and also claimed a victory against a non-conference foe that just added a premiere receiver.

3) Mark Sanchez still has 0 INT's.

4) LaDainian Tomlinson is still looking 5 years younger.

5) D'Brick elevated his stature tonight when it comes to being a top LT in the league by stonewalling Jared Allen.

6) The Jets D basically shut down the best RB in the game until midway thru the 4th quarter, holding him to 88 yards via the ground.

Feel free to add your own. Let's see how quickly the positivity ends.

We almost did

"Almost" only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. We "almost" lost to Miami too. However, given that we never trailed tonight and only trailed for about 47 seconds in that game, you can say without a doubt that we outplayed both opponents. Combine that with double-digit wins over the Pats and Bills, and there is very little to be unhappy about right now. Stay positive, at least in this thread.

Folk looked good, there that was positive and not complaining

Good point. He's only missed 2 FG's in 5 games now and one of them was the 61 yard attempt that was blocked. He's now 12 out of 14 on the season. Looks like he's back to his Pro Bowl form.

I think the way Coleman and Lowery played is bigger than most of your points. If these two kids can produce its like winning the lottery.

This isn't really anything new, but good point. Rex has done an amazing job making our secondary go from no depth to some of the best depth in the league. It helps when Coleman and Lowery are covering, say, Camarillo rather than a Harvin, Moss or Berrian, which gives them opportunities to make plays on the ball.
