Irish Jet
******* idiot. Said it ALL wekk, you don't dare risk a hammy if it isn't 100%. Now we'll miss him in a game where we'll need him so much more. ALL Denver do is throw the ******* ball. Bye week is well timed at least, he'll be needed for GB, another one dimensional passing team. JetsFanInDenver
I think he should only play when he is 100% and in game shape. All those who think Revis at 75% is better than all our other DB's...well!

Jetsfan80
3/5 says Revis tweets he's out for the Denver game by Thursday morning. I wouldn't at all be against that. Who do we need him against, Jabar Gaffney? Brandon Lloyd? Let him travel to Denver and not dress, and then he gets the bye week.
Irish Jet
We played fine without him for 3 weeks. We were far from "fine" against the pass in Miami. We let that ugly prick Henne throw for like 350+ yards. Denver do nothing but throw, they can't run so they've been passing non-stop. They spread it around a lot too. Brandon Lloys is actually playing like a man possessed, crazy as that sounds and they have Gafney and Royal. Orton is playing like he's Dan ******* Marino, on pace to break his passing record. ECURB
Revis looked AWFUL out there... and it really had nothing to do with his leg... he was out of position... looked confused at times and got frustrated often. When AP pushed him on his a$$ he sulked for a while...

AFJF
I've said from day one to sit him until after the bye week. This bullsh*t is going to linger all season. Terrible decision by the coaching staff.
stoicsentry
Terrible decision by Mevis. What a joke! WHAT AN IDIOT. If we don't do it this season then Mevis will be at the center of the blame. Screw him, he can't even cover tight ends. Disaster. Nice job getting outplayed by Drew Coleman.

JerryK
How long have NFL players been 'tweaking hammys' ....Nobody knows how to treat this? The college of sports medicine doesn't have 'tweaked hamstring' anywhere in its curriculum? It's not even a tear for crying out loud. Bench him, fix it, and throw his overpaid a$$ out on the field. sh4dy15
So ******* stupid that he played. I understand him and the coaching staff saying he was 100% because they dont want to give Minnesota a reason to target him but they KNEW that he wasnt. Yes Cromartie did an awesome job on Moss (besides the TD which was just a great pass) but if Revis was 100% and the coaching staff thought he was 100% he would have been on Moss all game. That TD to Harvin, I couldnt believe how slow he was running, obvious that the hamstring wasnt healed. Hopefully these 2 weeks will help. Protect your investment and get him healthy. A DB with a hamstring injury is worthless and a liability out there.

slats
Hamstring injuries suck, and I was definitely concerned about it on the wet turf. Slipping the wrong way can definitely aggravate them. It was obvious he wasn't 100% last night. He had a nice tackle in the running game and picked up that fumble early, but he slowed down after that. KSJets
Screw him, he can't even cover tight ends. WTF are you talking about? Their TE's caught a total of 3 passes for 33 yards (Visanthe Shiancoe caught 2 for 28, and Jimmy Kleinsasser caught 1 for 5). Not sure who you were watching but their TE's did absolutely dick to us yesterday.

slats
he looks slow slats and I saw him try to NOT grab that left hamstring when he wanted to He probably should've grabbed it and left the field. Let the haters say what they're going to say, they're going to say it anyway. I'd love to have him available against Denver, but he should really probably sit another couple weeks - at least.
