Irish Jet
Scares me. The Jets look the business right now and we're coasting towards a 5-1 record heading into the bye week but I really worry about the Denver game. This team is putting up ridiculous #'s in the air and our pass defense has been inconsistent at the best of times. Revis will probably be out so we need another big game from Cro and co. A lot of people seem to be underestimating Kyle Orton and Brandon Lloyd simply because they are Kyle Orton and Brandon Lloyd, but these guys are clicking right now and playing some nice football. Denver is never an easy place to go regardless. Sanchez has never played in this altitude before, it will be interesting to see how we adapt. We should be able to run the ball down their throats all day but I can see our defense having an off day. Bad feeling...

Irish Jet
Not for nothing...but didn't you start this same thread before the Vikes game? Yes. We won that game IIRC. Bills game too. Those games scared me. So yeah, this game scares me.

JerryK
I've never trusted the oxygen level at any Colorado sporting event. If they have a passing team this year, Cro and company will need great wind to keep up.

If we can run the ball, we stay on the field longer. This keeps Orton and Lloyd off the field. Simple. If the Ravens can grab 230+ yards on the ground and beat them by 14 points, then we can too. Lil Bit Special
Every game scares me that we're just pretenders and not contenders. Yet every week they do enough to win and make me relax a bit. But my guard is still up!
sh4dy15
Cromartie is getting better and better every week, some of his plays last night were amazing. Yes he got beat for a TD but he did a great job on Moss for the most part. Stick him on Brandon Lloyd and our D-Line has to get to Orton and we'll win this game easy. Brandon Llyod is no Randy Moss and Kyle Orton is no Brett Favre.

The TD he gave up was just a case of the perfect throw and perfect catch. He played an amazing game.
Jets Voice of Reason
You can start this thread before any game we have. Our schedule is tough this year. This next game does concern me in the sense that it's a pass happy offense and Darrelle clearly isn't 100%. It's also in Denver which is going to have our players sucking wind a whole lot on a short week to prepare.

It was the only place the ball could have been where Randy comes down with it. Cro was all over him like butter on a biscuit.

Shonn Greene seems to be coming into his own after a slow start, and LT is playing lights out. Denver has to worry about the Jets rushing game all day long, and meanwhile Santonio Holmes & the Jets should be a lot more comfortable with each other this week. Calvin Pace, too. SoFlaJets
Which is worse, the altitude in Denver, or the heat in Miami? the heat in Miami with the Broncos missing both safties, a CB and their best pass rusher who led the league in sacks last year
Jets Voice of Reason
Which is worse, the altitude in Denver, or the heat in Miami? Has to be altitude. You can simulate humidity but you can't simulate the thinner air. We are going to need our offense to sustain drives.
JiF
Has to be altitude. You can simulate humidity but you can't simulate the thinner air. We are going to need our offense to sustain drives. Agreed. Its get humid every where on the east coast and most of these guys played ball in the south to begin with, so they are used to it. The Denver game scares me because they pick up the blitz well, and Orton has been making people pay. Ground and pound will be key, keep their offense off the field.
