Important Win

Last night was very important, we managed to win the game even though our offense was completly out fo sync. For those who are upset with Sanchez lets keep in mind that last years bad games for him resulted in 5 ints. He protected the ball well for the most part, and in all reality did not get much help from the WR's and Keller. Also It was nice to see players like lowery and coleman have an impact, it just shows our depth. Every good NFL team knows how to win even when they are not playing their best game and the Jets did that last night. On a side note, I am for one very happy we played the Vikings now rather than 4 weeks from now. With Moss learning the offense and Rice coming back they will be a tough matchup for anyone.

I disagree. Favre is on the demise. As the season goes on he gets older tired and more sore and injured. Minnesota can have all the WRs they want if the QB cant throw the ball effectively then thats a problem. And how long before AP starts bitching he wants more carries? Minnesota doesnt scare me.

It was a huge win. MNF, returning home, rain delays, Moss trade...had classic meltdown game written all over it. And it almost happened.

The difference is, this years Jets seem to know how to win. They know how to answer offensively and this year, they are getting off the field in late game situations defensively.

In regards to Sanchez; he was definitely a little off, some throws should have been sure shot TD's or huge gainers, but he was missing. Dont know if the elements played a factor, but he wasnt getting much help either. There were a ton of drops from everyone.

Good to see the Jets pull of a win after a rocky performance from the offense and a late surge by the Vikings.
