Maxman
I think the need to reinstate the ghost of Eric Mangini and just go lock-down on Revis hammy talk. He is 100%. He isn't 100%. He is going to play. He was too hurt to play. He is out two weeks. He is practicing. Let's stop using the hammy as an excuse. When he is healthy he can play again. If he gets burned, it isn't the hammy. Enough already. Just my humble opinion.

ECURB
Sit him next week. We're playing Denver, we can stop them without Revis. Sit him why? The whole problem is that he has been sitting too much, he is slow out there. This whole "sit him another week" talk is really just plain stupid. He needs playing time to get in shape and get going again.

You know what gets me watching all the expert texperts on SNY yesterday? The way they all said "I told you the Jets shouldn't have played Revis" It was up to HIM to determine if he was ready to go or not and on Sunday he tweeted that he was. BroadwayJoe12
You do realize that Denver has the #1 passing offense in the league right? #2. However, you also realize that is because they are also dead last in rushing?? 51.8 yards per game...that's roughly 25 yards less than the 31st worst team in the league, the saints. Knowshon moreno is banged up with two hammys and buckhalter and maroney have done just about nothing. They are 2-3 and are completely one dimensional, that usually is not a recipe for success in this league. I believe Revis should not sit out, as it was previously mentioned, it's him not playing that has been the cause for his not being in football shape. The only thing I'd do differently is start him and when it begins to flair up and affect his play, take him out for the game. Play him 3 quarters if he can't do 4 etc.

Not because of his leg but because he is out of game shape and not in the right frame of mind yet. Rex isn't asking or expecting him to be all-world like he was last year either EC...he just wants him to play and like you said work his way back to what he can be. I almost think Revis must be embarrassed by his play so far. Somebody was saying Dennis Thurman was chewing him out on the sidelines Monday night. Thurman ripped him a new one for sure, no way he does that if Revis is not 100%. I sit behind the JETS bench and Revis got hell from the fans too... but Thurman was really letting him have it. No one said he was 100%, he was just cleared to play. Revis was asked directly about being 100%, and he ducked the question. The JETS and Revis have all said he won't go till he is 100% because of the nature of the injury. He went, it is safe to assume he was 100%. Was it tight? I am sure. Was it sore? Of course. 100% healthy though.

Greenranger
They have the #2 passing game not #1 and for it being so great they have had problems scoring. If our defense is as good as it is supposed to be then we should have no problem keeping them out of the end-zone with Cromartie.
Mevis Slouch
Revis is only pretending to practice. + 1. He's a slouch so I doubt he's truly practicing like he plays. And take it from a guy who knows, you have to practice like you play. I've been there and if you half a$$ it in practice, your performance will reflect that. Its probably why 2010 Revis is a slouch. Maybe the Jets can hire Mr. Miyagi to help. He got the Karate Kid to beat Daniel Lawerence in karate match with a much worse injury than a hamstring tweak. Bullsh*t. If I run up and down my stairs 20 times my leg will be swollen and sore. That is just the nature of how your muscles work, but I am certainly not injured. His hamstring was 100%, he would not have played nor would the JETS have cleared him to play if it wasn't.
