lancemehl
Since 87 when we fell off the map, first team ALL-MO (under rated Jets who could've been contenders, but wallowed in the belly of some bad Jet teams): QB- Ken O'Brien RB- Adrian Murell FB- Brad Baxter TE- Mickey Shuler WR- Rob Moore WR- Wayne Chrebet DL- Shaun Ellis, Marvin Washington LB- Mo Lewis, Jeff Lageman CB- Aaron Glenn, James Hasty S- Victor Green
T0mShane
Rob Moore and Marvin Washington were talented, but pussies. Washington especially only played hard when he felt like it. Aaron Glenn and James Hasty were two of my favorite Jets of all time, though. Great, tough players. Hasty played with a broken jaw during a lost Jets season. That's pimp stuff right there. Agree totally on Glenn and Hasty. Dwayne White was a pretty good guard during the Coslet years. Throw in Kyle Clifton as well.
#27TheDominator
Agree totally on Glenn and Hasty. Dwayne White was a pretty good guard during the Coslet years. Throw in Kyle Clifton as well. IMO, Kyle Clifton was basically a JAG, but I don't look at that as a bad thing. Guys like Abdul Salaam, Barry Bennett, Ben Rudolph and Mike Devito. You can win a title with those guys. I cringe every time a team or fanbase looks to improve one of those by getting somebody who is supposedly more gifted - a Blair Thomas or Roger Vick. Tough and durable, if the team were better during his tenure Clifton would be a major league folk hero, but he'll always deserve our respect. He has mine. Mevis Slouch
I'd like to respectfully add Darrelle Revis to this list. Thank you,
Bruce Banner
Rob Moore really didn't do that much in the NFL which has always been a mystery to me since in college he tore it up. I don't think he belongs on the list. Erik McMillan may not have been good for very long but when he was good he was very good. Still one of my all time favorite Jets.
