Black Crowes playing in Albany

Not sure if anyone is in the upstate area and likes some good ole classic rock, but the crowes have been putting on 3 hour shows for their final tour the past few months. Have caught them a handful of times this tour and they're as tight as they've ever been.

They'll be at the house of blues in boston next weekend and than the former times square theater in novemeber for a 5 show run. I recommend seeing them to everyone if ya get the chance.

Played for over three hours. What a ******* rock n roll show, i suggest anyone see them if you haven't before the end of this tour. Might be your last chance to catch one of the best live acts of the last few decades.

I posted the setlist above, it was absolutely phenomenal. The whole "Say Goodbye to the Bad Guys" tour has been amazing, especially with celebrating their 20 years and their new album Croweology (it's a full acoustic album of all their old songs and a few covers) They are honoring it by playing an acoustic set followed by an eletric set, for over 3 hour shows each night...I truly recommend seeing them.

Chris' voice is as good as it's been in years and him and his brother just write some amazing music. Also, if you've never seen the Northern Mississippi Allstars, Luther Dickinson, who's been playing with them for the last 4 years, is one of the best guitarists playing today. Derek trucks, whom i absolutely love, is probably better technically, but for my Money I prefer Luther.

Just wanted to throw his out there, if you enjoy the crowes, this is off Rich's solo album. Great song, this guy is one of my favorite musicians in modern music.

Also, the Crowes covering one of my all time favorite Velvet Underground Songs...Luther is just brilliant on this version.
