The Jets can lose any game at any time. That being said, really the Steelers and Bears scare me the most. The Steelers are probably actually more winnable than the Bears, since the Jets always play them tough, even when the Jets suck.

The Bears though...on paper the Jets should have a pretty good time of it, but for some reason I have a bad feeling about that game.

So 13-3 could be a very realistic mark. But so could 10-6. I don't like projecting these things anymore, I just look at it week to week now.

Week 16 could go either way depending on what we are playing for...if we NEED it to get in or home field AND its not crazy chicago snow/wind/etc we should beat them...Pitt is incredibly tough at home...

After getting into the bye 5-1, I'd almost expect more than 12-4 (crazy that I'm saying that, lol).

I think our most likely losses are New England and Pittsburgh.I think we should not only beat the bears but beat them well, especially considering how well Revis should be playing at that point.

A lot can happen though. Injuries especially will be a huge a factor in how things turn out.

I think it's time to end this fear of NE bullsh*t. It's been considered a victory just if the Jets could split with the Patriots for the past decade. It's time for the Jets to get their sh*t together and sweep the division. Will they? Who knows, but they can and I think should. Hell, up until last year the Jets seemed to play the Patriots better in NE than at home anyway.

We could of course beat New England. No reason why we can't.

Still, it will be a tough game. They find a way to win. The second they got within a FG of the Ravens you just knew they'd go on and win it.

pending injuries, imo, 11-5

I think we lose GB, NE and Pitts, and atleast 1 of Chicago/Houston/Miami

I think they can handle Green Bay and the Texans if Revis is 100% after the bye.

December looks it could be a bad month. I'd be happy with a 2-2 record there.

This has been said different ways already but my 2cents is..

I like the picks but I'd never write off an NFC North game. In addition to playing crappy NFC teams, that division gets to pad their schedule with 2 Lions games. If Miami can win at Lambeau, I wouldn't doubt the Jets can win in Chicago.

+ a whole bunch

F^ck the Pats! The Jets already beat them by two TD's, and NY's getting people back while NE is trading away Randy Moss. And if this team really has Super Bowl hopes, then it can't be worried about the big bad Steelers, either. So f^ck everyone who automatically lists those two games as losses, too.

I'm not expecting 15-1, but I'd prefer the losses come to teams everything thinks they should beat going in. Wake up call losses, rather than losses to what someone perceives to be a better team. Lose to the Bengals at home on Thanksgiving, then get their sh*t together for a run against NE, Miami, and Pittsburgh. That's the way I'd rather see it play out.

After the woeful performance by the Jets yesterday, the Pats will easily handle the Jets in Foxboro.

I have a secret for you, the Patriots don't get to say, "Hey, we're going to play the Jets from October 17th who were coming off of a short week, traveling cross country and playing at Mile High. Thanks."

Of course, I know you're not that big of a dumbass to think a performance yesterday has anything to do with a performance two months from now and are just trying to stir up sh*t, but I'm still not going to let you get away with such an asinine comment.

I think rodgers shreds this defense. We'll see..

One thing about Denver which I found curious was that everytime the jets blitzed, Orton just threw it up on a sideline go into one on one coverage. I was surprised there weren't more quick slants/ins into the middle, which i think Rodgers is particularly good at throwing and we'd be vunerable to.

These things crack me up, I wonder what people were thinking when we were down with 3 minutes left. Was anyone counting up future wins?

A loss there wouldn't have really changed my projection. THis team could've easily lost the last 2 games and does not look like a dominant team by any means. Good team, sure, but the offense is coming back down to earth and the defense isn't playing nearly as good as last season. I personally think that's largely due to Revis, so lets hope he gets back to form by GB

Still, its cracks me up. No way you see this thread if we lose.

Anyway, luckily for the Jets, there isnt a single team in the NFL that is blowing the doors off their opponents. And its a good sign we are winning games that last year would have been a loss.

Revis sucks. I wouldnt bank on him. We just need to limit the penalties and not keep extending drives for our opponents offense. I was shocked that we were giving up the run the way we were, but I'm not going to put too much stock into being it was short week and on the road, I think they just caught us off guard.

True, I think Pittsburgh looks like the only potential dominant team with Raplisburger back

Of course slats pick the one home game i'm planning on going to this year for the Jets to be OK with losing. Thanks man.

I agree. They are the best team in the league right now IMO.

I'm looking forward to seeing the model in that game.

Really?

The Jets coming off a bye, playing at home, Green Bay losing at least 1 starter per week, and you act like the Packers winning on the road is a lock?

You have another home loss there as well. 5-3 at home?

Assuming rodgers is healthy, we blitz at our normal rates and Mevi$ continues to be underwhelming, yes..

The guy is tailor made to suceed against this defense.. acurrate, great pocket presence, quick ball and makes quick decisions..

If Clay Matthews is playing, our offense won't be able to keep up.

I'm almost as upset as Tom Brady at this response.

Serious question CMT, when is Rex finally going to realize that half-way good QB's will pick apart that over-load blitz.

Rogers will have a field day under those circumstances.

well, it works a heck of a lot better when 1 guy is taking out the opponents go to receiver ;) THis defense is very reliant on revis, and he's not there yet..

Actually, I thought Revis' coverage yesterday was pretty damn good.

Orton dropped in two perfect throws to beat him.

Not much you can do against that.

Tx threw you a hanging curve and you swung and missed.
