The "Luck" is Finally On Our Side

I am not saying that that Pass Interference call was luck by any means, he grabbed his ****in face mask but so far in these past 6 games we WON 3 games that in the past we would have lost and the crazy part is I'm not talking about Miami or the Pats cause we kicked this sh*t out of them. The bills was a trap game, the Vikings...was just feeling like it could have been a SOJ loss, and this game was a game that last year there is no way we win! I know thats not how you want to win games but championship calibur teams NEED wins like this. Everything was going against us, crowd was crazy, refs ******* sucked (until the last play), Sanchez played not so great, time was running out, and somehow we pull out the win.

I know there will be a bunch of people that disagree with me and thats fine but I think even though it was a tough game for him, this was another maturing moment for Sanchez. Yes he threw 2 picks, yes it could have been 4 but it wasnt. After the first pick what does he do? Go into a shell? Panic and throw another one? Nope, he throws a TD pass to Braylon Edwards! Next pick, another force that he probably shouldnt have thrown but what does he do after? Leads the team down for a game winning drive with 2:43 left on the clock. Oh yeah, and he's still only in his 2nd year with about 40 games under his belt since HS.

BTW- Loving the attitude on this board today, everyone is pretty pumped up and positive and we should be!

It helps to have an immense amount of talent on both sides of the ball... not many teams have multiple starting or star caliber players at each position... lol

Greene/LT

Trich/Connner

Holmes/Edwards

Harris/Scott/Pace/Taylor/Thomas

The Pats picked woodhead off the scrap heap and he is getting real playing time... that says a lot about the depth on this team.

You make your own luck. The Jets are a good team that believes they should win every time they step on the field. Luck follows.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not calling them lucky by any means, thats why luck is in quotes haha Were just watching them do things this year that other teams have done to us for years!

Its good that we're "lucky". How often were we calling the Pats "lucky" over the last decade through all their success? How often do they say "its better to be lucky than good"? Fact is, more games are LOST than they are WON, and the teams that capitalize when the other team makes a key miscue are the best ones.

We didn't play stellar yesterday, but we put ourselves in position to win the game at the end when Jets teams of old would have folded. I myself was disappointed and frustrated with how we were playing for much of the game, but imagine how terrible Denver fans feel today after snatching defeat from the jaws of victory? It must feel like, well, what being a Jets fan has been so many times in the past.
