JiF
Is this the NFL's way of admitting that the zebras made a mistake? IDK, but you'd have to be a complete moron to think it was the correct call.
THE ILK
I like Leonhard, oh wait that don't look right. I like zebras. Do you like zebras?
Green DNA
Is this the NFL's way of admitting that the zebras made a mistake? Link? I'd like to comment, but having not seen the article, I don't want to type anything that might be taken out of context. Thanks for your understanding. Jetfan13
Meriweather should have been ejected after that hit. That ws a pure head first launching spear he threw there. And Harrison should also have been ejected after his SECOND spear of the same game.

And Harrison should also have been ejected after his SECOND spear of the same game. To me, an illegal hit would have to be blatent and beyond question in order to eject a player mid-game. If that criteria were being used, only the Meriweather hit would warrant ejection. It was absolutely obvious he was trying to injure someone and the helmet-to helmet hit did little to nothing to contribute to making a tackle. Dirtiest hit i've seen this season. tparich
Is this the NFL's way of admitting that the zebras made a mistake? Not sure what not fining a unnecessary roughness penalty has to do with the saying that the call was a mistake. Do all of those penalties also come with fines? Falcon63
The only player that should've been fined was Meriwhether. That was CLEARLY intentional. Robinson didn't really spear, Harrison definitely didn't, and Leonhard, um not even close.
sirlancemehlot
why dont they call it "spearing" anymore? I liked that term. Spearing. He was flagged for spearing. Come to think of it. Why did they start to call it spearing in the first place? And what other uses for the term can be instituted? Spearing. It just feels right.
