"Those photos Brett sent were intended for me. But you know Brett………they were intercepted."

Good stuff Bob. I will never understand why Favre gets a free pass from the media. Remember when he was addicted to pain killers in the mid 90's?

I wonder if brett and jen will be popular halloween costumes

a jetscheerleader outfit, ( or optional cowgirl) low cut with a padded bra, and a guy with a #4 jets jersey with a digital camera and a lil weiner

could be funny if done right

This joke took you 2 weeks? Back in the day this would have come out 5 posts into the thread when it was actually news.

A once great and noble king has withered away into this mass of jello set before us. First TomShane - excuse me, T0mShane - renounces his penislove in a melodramatic PM to me last week, and now this from Bob.

I am depressed. At least the warper still works, I guess.

precisely why I've always striven for mediocrity. The decline is less obvious and the fall doesn't hurt as much.

Makes sense end controversy. If I had a dollar for every time I sent a picture of my shcwang to my wife and some hot chick ended up with it, I be a very wealth.

And the obvious followup question...

What is your wife doing with some hot chick so much? ;)

Hopefully cooking me some damn dinner.

Another one in the "stand by your man" group. I suppose it's admirable. Either the love is deep and the forgiveness flows, or she is in absolute denial or she just does not care - which is the worst, if you ask me.

I wonder though - is turning the other cheek counter-productive? I mean, why stop being a cheating bastard if the consequences have little or no ill effect?

It has to do with "HALF" and "GAME CHECKS". As long as Brett Favre is married to Deanna and he's gettting those game checks, that's community property(HALF!) in most states. The day she inevitably files those papers means Brett keeps the game checks for himself.

Ms Favre is an idiot. If your man is cheating on you leave them. It's simple and works for boys and girls. A cheating spouse is useless and eventually destructive. Masterbation and take out are ok for awhile. Never convicnce yourself you need someone who treats you like shhit.

If Favre has kids he will get to keep very little of the game check

Deanna Favre has been married to Brett Favre for 14 years.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Deanna Favre says her religious faith and an outward focus are helping her overcome the allegations of improper behavior that have been leveled against her husband, Brett.

Deanna Favre was interviewed Thursday on "Good Morning America" about a book she co-authored with Shane Stanford called "The Cure for the Chronic Life," which is about getting past hard times and patterns of unhealthy behavior.

During the interview, Deanna was asked how she's handling the accusations against Brett Favre, who is being investigated by the NFL for allegedly sending suggestive messages and lewd photos to a woman who worked for the New York Jets.

Deanna Favre says: "I'm handling this through faith."

She did not address whether the allegations against her husband are true or false.

I don't think it's really anyone's concern but Deanna Favre's whether she should leave the marriage or not, especially since there is no evidence that any of Favre's electronic hanky-panky was ever physically consummated.

People do frequently stay with spouses who physically stray from them. Here, we don't even know that Brett Favre did that much.

The main accuser is a former Playmate. While this doesn't disqualify her as a credible witness, it does lead to speculation if she is serious about her writing career. If a young woman asked you for advice on how to break into sports journalism, would you answer "get a spread in Playboy"? That sounds like great advice on how to become a celebrity, not a respected writer. And if becoming a celebrity is Sterger's goal, it is absolutely in her career interest to let dirty texts and anatomy pics continue without making a real effort to stop it so that a big splash is made when they are revealed.

Maybe Brett Favre is a famous, arrogant SOB who thinks he can invade a young woman's privacy with impunity. On the other hand, maybe he was just an aging guy who gets a kick out of talking dirty on the phone with a hot young chick and received no direct signal from her that she wanted it to stop. If the latter is true, I don't see why a divorce is necessarily called for, but then again, it's none of my business.

Favre called Jets reporter for 'sex' in June 2009

Nearly a year after allegedly sending a slew of sleazy text messages and photos to a sexy sideline reporter, former Jets quarterback Brett Favre apparently made another bad call -- phoning the brunette bombshell in a bungling bid to bed her, The Post has learned.

The revelation comes as the woman at the center of the scandal, Jenn Sterger, considers dishing to the NFL about these and other salacious details of the gridiron granddaddy's woeful wooing.

The superstar quarterback's alleged phone calls and texts to Sterger in August 2008 is already being probed by the NFL.

But a source yesterday said that 10 months later -- in June 2009 -- Favre again called Sterger, after both left the team.

"The same number that was used to send the messages in 2008 is the same one used to call Jenn in 2009, when Favre was in New York to film [the HBO show] 'Joe Buck Live,' " said the source.

A lawyer for Sterger, 26, is talking to the NFL about a possible interview about Favre's alleged sexual harassment.

So far, those published voice message and photos have not been publicly confirmed as coming from Favre, a married, 41-year-old grandfather now playing for the Minnesota Vikings.

A source also said Sterger might reveal previously undisclosed conduct by Favre.

"If she was to go in, that [conduct by Favre] would be corroborated and there would probably be a bit more," the source said.

But a report in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, however, said Sterger would decline to talk to football officials if she reaches a financial settlement with Favre.

Favre met Tuesday with NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich. On Wednesday, Ahlerich spoke with the editor of Deadspin.com, the sports-gossip Web site that originally published the story.

Sterger's spokesman, Phil Reese, said "she is strongly considering" speaking with the NFL, whose reps talked as recently as yesterday with her new lawyer Joseph Conway.

Did Favre try to woo Sterger year after alleged pics?

Manager: Favre called Sterger last year

A spokesman for the woman who allegedly received lewd photos and inappropriate text messages from Brett Favre two years ago says the quarterback tried to contact the former New York Jets game hostess in 2009.

Phil Reese, Jenn Sterger's manager, tells The Associated Press that Favre called Sterger last June. Reese declined comment when asked if there were multiple calls, but said Sterger did not answer the phone.

The New York Post first reported the June 2009 call, citing an unidentified source.

The revelation came as the woman at the center of the scandal, Jenn Sterger, considered talking to the NFL about these and other salacious details of the gridiron star's wooing.

The superstar quarterback's alleged phone calls and texts to Sterger in August 2008 are already being investigated by the NFL, but a source said that 10 months later — in June 2009 — Favre again called Sterger, after both left the team.

It appears the fair damsel desperately wants her honor returned to her.

Or a big pile of cash will do nicely, thank you very much.

Well if he didn't do anything like he claims, then their should be nothing to worry about in letting her go and talk with Commissioner goody-two-shoes.

It's embarrassing for Favre because I think it will emerge that he sent the Emails and pics. He has an image of a family man, now grandpa, and clearly this takes away from it.

On the other hand, affairs confined to electronic communication is a grey area for all but the most Puritan among us. It's not simon pure, but it's not like these two were going to motel rooms either.

I think the issue will be whether Sterger made any effort to end these calls, and if she didn't, was it because she felt intimidated? Meanwhile, during this whole investigation process the content of these calls is likely to come out, and that has to be embarrassing whether Favre had reason to believe Sterger was into it or not.

did you hear the voice mails ?

they did come out

why do you think he invited her to his hotel room ?

at one point farvuh mentions a garbage can becuase she had told friends she didn't want to get involved becuase she'd eventually wind up dead in a garbage can

she did nothing wrong

according to her lawyer, she didn't even give the info to deadspin

Are you kidding me?

Why was the affair confined to electronic communication?

It's not like wee-wee was not inviting Jenn to his playhouse, listen to the voice mails!

It sure sounds live he was trying to consummate the affair with her, and that she was rejecting him to me.

It also sounds like he was still trying a year later, despite her shewing his fly away in the past: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/favre-made-another-call-to-sterger-102310

Not for nothing but there's always a good chance she's been banging pool boys for the last 10 years. I mean there could be an agreement here. I actually respect the fact she wasn't dumb enough to think her husband wasn't cheatin on her.
