You don't have to be a criminal to be a bad person. You can just be a pile of sh*t human being w/o physically harming others. He is that.

BTW, the part where you say he's not a rapist, wife beater, etc.... Yeah, thanks for repeating exactly what I said in my post.

So basically anyone that wants more money at their job that they excel at is a pile of sh*t human being? Thanks, I feel so much better about myself now that I know I'm a pile of sh*t human being.

Guys, I've had a turd all morning that just wouldnt come out. After the proper treatment, Bold Coffee from Panera, I finally squeezed that baby out.

I'm 100% right now. Expect big things.

When you get that clearing poop out you know you've lost all that extra weight you put on by showing up late to camp.

That’s why I come to this site.

News hot off the hopper

LOL - you may not think its news worthy but my team here in the office was definitely glad to hear that I'm back to 100%. Unfortunately, my first big chance with my client after getting back to 100% was failure as I was burned by my competitor who I'm notorious for calling a slouch.

Weird

When you get that clearing poop out you know you've lost all that extra weight you put on by showing up late to camp.

Truth, but for real. I feel so light today. Cant wait to get on the BBall courts tonight. It will be like my playing days all over again, I'll be so light on my feet.

Well you left out quite a few details. Did you sign a contract with your current employer(s) stating that you would do your job for a given time period only to stop showing up before that tiem expired forcing your co-workers to pick up your slack because you've decided the money you agreed to wasn't enough? If so then I'm afraid that would be the case.

I don't really see it this way. Players have a right to try and renegotiate mid contract if they've outperformed it, just as teams can cut players mid contract without repercussion. What Revis has essentially demanded and threatened to hold out again in two years for is to be the highest paid playuer at his position each individual season. When you average Revis' first two seasons of this new contract (salary plus bonus earned for the 2 seasons) he will be making and avg of 16.5 mil, just over Nnambdi and will be the highest paid CB. After that his average drops down, in which case he holds out again. This is akin to the Colts making Peton Manning the highest paid QB with a 6 year contract, and two years later Brady gets a higher contract so Manning holds out. If Revis wants to be the highest paid player at his position each season then he better damn well play like it AT ALL TIMES! He's been a JAG at best so far this year and he's not even the best CB on the team, much less the division, much less the conference, much less the league.

I don't disagree. Players should be allowed to renegotiate. You know what though? Do it from camp. Show up to work and let your teammates know (not the fans, we know the players could give two sh*ts about us) that you're in it with them. You all have a common goal. The fact that you're scheduled to make $21 million over the next three years should be enough to entice you to show up to work while you explain to the world that your loved ones are at home starving to death wondering where their next meal is going to come from. He has absolutely been a JAG but as he showed in camp, on field results aren't all that high of a priority.

Revis debate aside one thing is really important.

He is going to start contributing to this team. His contributions have been limited (asked and answered). Going forward though, you are going to see the Revis and Cromartie we all thought we were getting. Cro might actually be playing better than advertised.

This defense has a lot of room for improvement and hopefully that starts showing on Sunday.

Max, please stay on topic. Revis is 100% douchebag. :D

Wow...the lack of reading comprehension here is a bit alarming. I think it's a product of people wanting to be so right so quickly that instead of reading what is said they pick out the parts they can counter and pounce on it.

Nowhere in my post did I say Revis was a criminal. The point I was making was that the mentality of "rooting for the laundry" is what fans use to excuse criminal behavior, the same way it excuses selfish behavior that has a negative impact on the team. So I make a comparison to a mind set that excuses people for wrongdoing and a bunch of people sh*t their pants and say "Oh my god, you compared Douchebag to the son of Sam" No. I didn't. You just didn't read what I typed.

Then somebody said I don't understand the business side of football and I shouldn't care how much money he makes.

And again...NOT ONE TIME in my post did I say I gave a sh*t how much money douchebag makes.

I FULLY understand the business side of football but douchebag took it to a whole new level. How many times do you see a player hold out for a deal with three years remaining on a deal he got by holding out and then saying "no" to a deal that would have made him the 2nd highest paid player at his position in the history of the league? Face it, he's a piile of sh*t. Just because he wears green and white on Sunday's does not remove all of the douchebaggery he's brought on himself.

I don't think I have any problem at all understanding the business side of the deal. It's just that too many sports fans can't tell the difference between right and wrong because athletes can never be in the wrong. I mean, unless of course he makes a mistake on the field. Especailly the ones that play for their favorite team.

I agree 100%, but I feel that this forum is probably not the place to discuss such matters. What, I think, you are referring to is more attune to the societal issues that plagued the Roman Empire during the 2nd and 3rd centuries. Your points are well taken, but to recognize the validity of your premise would require one to possess the ability to comprehend existentialism and it's direct impact on society.

Ultimately, a valid premise is only thus if it presented in the correct context.

Just my thoughts...
