THE ILK
Cable Vision offered to pay them what they are getting from Time Warner for 1 year, and they turned it down. This is all on them! I would just go and get an antenna and watch the game on TV in HD for like $15 bucks. If you want to watch it online this site usually works good: http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=americanfootball

Im going to run a wire to my neighbors who has Verizon and borrow a box. CABLEVISION SUCKS.

Do you have to have a Digital TV or a converter box for any kind of antenna to work or do they sell digital antenna's that do that?

I'm pretty sure you need a converter box, which should not be a problem. You can hook the antenna to the cable box and run the coaxial cable from the box to the TV and it will convert it for you. Jetsfan1015
I bought a $15 RCA anntena from best buy, for my brother-in-law who has cablevision and hooked it up to his hd tv, in northern bergen county earlier this week and the picture is in crystal clear hd and is great. We got something like 60 channels (30 of them being in foreign language though.) You just have to make sure you have the tv on all the right settings. I also heard of www.ivi.tv yesterday on the fan. you get free 30 day trial and then its like $5 a month and you get most of New York and also Seattle's local channels. Just another option. How is it that this is the third time this has happened to them this year and no other cable or satellite company ever has this problem? There is only one common thread here, and it's those douchebag Dolan's and their sh*tty cable company.

I think the Dolans and Cablevision suck too, but none of these providers are innocent, and this has happened to DTV several times too.

thejetsaddict
The digital antennas dont work out here in Suffolk, even the ones that have the boosted reception. Im gonna try to watch it online. But I do think its little unfair to blame cablevision with all of this. Fox could do the right thing and leave the programming on while in negotiations.
