The Jets want to be viewed as a great team. Great teams win the games they're supposed to win. If they do that..they go to 10-1.

It is hard to even think about. I am still having trouble with the whole, "the Jets are good" concept.

nah, I think you're bluffing.

Promise. Well, maybe I shouldnt. I'm not very good at math. But I'm pretty damn sure it is entirely possible by the laws physics that the Jets have a chance at 10-1. Unlikely, but yes, its possible.

Where's the gheynoodlenerd CTM when you need him. I'm sure he has some type of equation that can prove this theory.

sure 10-1 is possible, AFTER 6-1, 7-1, 8-1, 9-1. One game at a time.

have we not been burned in the past counting wins and looking ahead?

I'm curious to see if they come out sleep walking this week after a week off. I'm not a fan of giving these guys the whole week. Last year there were bad results coming off the bye.

This week is huge, no doubt. They have seemed flat and with a healthy Revis it would be nice to see this rested team come out of the bye week really strong.

:box: Im not really projecting, but what I like is that whenever we play ( especially when whining Dan Dierdork is announcing ), oh yeah, I cant forget to mention Rod Woodson ( It hurts him to give us ANY credit! ) It seems like the announcers always are trying to make excuses for the opponent, undervalue the true quality of our team, and basically just "hate" on us. What I love is that this usually lasts long enough for them to realize that usually when we play a game, were just outright better than our opponent. I love to watch a game now because I EXPECT to win. I dont remember feeling that as a died-resurrected-die harder JET fan!!!! I am 1,000,000% in love with this team. So we just need to line em up, plow em down, one victim at a time............13 more times!! GO JETS

On Revis. Was it just me? Or was it not a great thing to see D.R. out there playing? I have no problem with the TD he gave up. none whasoever. DR kept playing even tho theey kept throwing his way. To me, what i saw was the reason he is one of the best in the league. He more than "held his own" while getting his feet back under him. Our defense is going to really explode from here on out. On Trevor Pryce. He brings a lot to the team. I believe that he is about to turn it up a few more notches too. Drew coleman can make big plays, but seems just a tad slow. Lowrey? need to get him in a little more. B)

I was watching Jets Game Plan last night on SNY and Revis looks thinner than he did when he came back. I can't wait to see him at 100% this week. We saw some flashes last week against Denver but he will be better vs GB

:Trk: Trent Green hit on a great point today. We are so BALANCED offensively! As previously stated, Dan Dierdork likes to ride our jock so much, he misses the obvious. I.E. He kept HARPING ..on how our running game suffered against denver. We had around 25yds rushing in mid 2nd qtr. He says "their avg is 165 yds per game...they cant run againnst denver. Well, we finished with around 140yds rushing, but it was Sanchez going deep, and 2 LT (rushing) TDs that beat them. We can ground & pound, or fling it around. I have a feeling that we will meet our mirror image opponent to go to Super Bowl....The Ravens !!!.......any thoughts?

Or the Jets are actually winning close games.

Next step to greatness though is to end all this heart attack last second crap and give us some 'over by 3rd qtr' rocking chair games laugh.gif

I'd love to see one game where the offense, the defense, and special teams all play up to their potential-hopefully that one game will be in the beginning of February

:win: Randy moss twice 2wins, Denver's much ballyhoed offense 1win, Miami Marshalls 1win, the usuall Buffalo meltdown 1win, very strong Ravens team 1loss (no excuses-we'll get em nxt time). Point is, no team is w/o flaws, pound for pound, we present difficult matchups for each opponent (like B-more). Im no expert, but over 40yrs of football, I can usually make a pretty darn good observation once in a while. " We absolutlely have all the components to bring home a Championship Ring this year, Coaching staff on-down, so we should expect to be great!! Boy this is fun, whatta ride!!!
