Falcon63
Just note that neither of Sanchez's picks were actually INTs. He still has 2 in my book. Both HORRIBLE calls that GREATLY impacted the game!
Greenranger
Minus those picks he wasn't that bad. How many passes did the receivers drop? The bad play by him that sticks out is when he had Braylon wide open and didn't see him.

Even with the drops, Sanchez was atrocious.

I NEVER blame the refs, but they made MANY horrible calls. usually it goes both ways, but I can't say it did this game. These are not excuses, these are facts. NEITHER of those picks were INTs, and they impacted the game GREATLY!

He played fine, the receivers sucked a$$ today.

JetsFanInDenver
You have 3 experienced WR's on offense. They should be bailing out the young QB. Instead they drop and drop. We could have won the game inspite the horrible ref calls and turnovers. We were that much better that GB. But instead we always stalled b/c we cannot catch the damn rock! Sperm Edwards
Yeah, but they DIDN'T pick them, so they don't "even out". So they don't count when he throws perfect passes to the defense and they don't count when he throws passes that the defense is capable of wrestling away (and does). lol He looked like garbage. Again.
Jetsfan80
The offense as a unit was pathetic. It makes little sense to single anyone out except the guy who's in charge of the operation. Brian Schottenheimer.
JiF
He didnt play well. Yeah there were drops but the bottom line, is the offense he leads, put up a big goose egg at home after a bye week.

He played fine, the receivers sucked a$ today. He did not play fine. I'm not absolving receivers at all but his passes were all over the place like he can't throw straight. Throws that should hit guys in the numbers require jumping up or acrobatic catches. He was sucky. And frankly he still doesn't see the field and is still gunshy, fake-pumping at his target before throwing it an ungodly amount of the time. The receivers were trash and the guy throwing to them was trash.

Larz
I'm sick of seeing sanchez under throw guys he gets awesome protection, he needs to do more with it I'd also like to see him run more, and of course slide at the end he's too athletic to just stay in the pocket, give the defense something else to worry about

This one's on the receivers and the OC, not the QB. If he throws the ball to an insanely-open Edwards we win also. The receivers were God-awful today. And Sanchez was off-target a hell of a lot as well. Guys wide open even on short passes and he throws at his guys' ankles or over their heads. They all looked bad. Sanchez gets no free pass just because others were also bad.

rillo
Sanchez didn't have a great game and more than a few passes looked like serious ducks, but the WR's have to make those catches, there's no excuses for those drops. Jet WR's have to help Sanchez, he's still young and learning.

Jetsfan80
why anyone would dog a 2nd year player who LEAD a team to a 5-2 record is beyond me.. This was the first time the Jets have been shutout since November '06, so the criticism is warranted today. Granted, I put more of the blame on Schottenheimer, whose offenses haven't produced in all 5 years he's been here. This game was eerily similar to Week 1 against Baltimore. Putting up a performance like this, at home, coming off a bye, is pathetic.

No, but you threw half the team under the bus.. It read like pennington defense. Kid had a bad game. Brees had a bad game last week. I don't understand the need some of you guys have to overeact, positive or negative, to 1 game..

The guy was off-target all day, save a couple of passes (like the 2 perfectly thrown ones Holmes dropped) and flat-out didn't see the game-winning TD because he's so zeroed-in on Santonio Holmes. And it's not like he was under crazy pressure all day. He had the kind of protection that must have caused GB fans to scream, "Where the **** is the pressure? How much ****ing time are we going to give this guy to throw?" I can't imagine anyone watching that game and coming away with it thinking Sanchez played well. Others also playing lousy doesn't mean Sanchez didn't.
