The interceptions

Still don't understand. You have a receiver allegedly catching the ball, going down and being touched... the ball is removed from his hands by the defender before the defender hits the ground. How is that an interception??????

Just two more examples of NFL rules defying average "common sense".

Yeah but how do you fumble AFTER you are down and contacted??? that doesn't make any sense!

I think I heard on the radio they explained it as a possesion thing, and that perriare guy said it was the right call

maybe the ball was coming loose or whatever

bottom line is hold onto the ball

the packers literally took this game from the jets

they wanted it more, played with more passion energy and intensity and that is what has been really bothering me

Jets were flat on offense. defense looked good though.

how the crap can you say that? Both times it occurred when the Jets were in the middle of a drive. The 2nd one would've been 4th down anyways but the 1st one we could've had some points.

I agree with rillo, they were horrible calls, but it still doesn't help that our offense completely sucked and we turned the ball over too many times in green bay territory. Just sloppy offense today, really sloppy.

also considering we turned it over deep in our own territory on the fake, this d is legit. just wish the offense wasn't so jekyll and hyde.

3 points on the fake punt. 3 points after missing on 4th and long in our territory at the end of the game. The defense played well enough to win this game. The only thing they didn't do were force any turnovers.

I understand what your saying, but its hard to win any game when your offense puts up 0 points. We could have had the 85 bears D in there and we still wouldn't lost.

In no way am I trying to make an excuse to that abortion of an offense we put out there today. It was frighteningly bad. We are not a pass first team, and yet we were today.

The offense was dog crap today, but those calls were both wrong, period. There is no debate in this at all, neither of those plays were anything close to interceptions. The officiating in the NFL this year is a joke. No human being in the world manages to retain their job when performing it as poorly as these morons do.

Agreed. Even if our D forced a turnover, I'm sure we wouldn't have gotten any points from it considering our game plan was involed pass, punt, and turnovers.

This game could have been won so easily, I'm not that worried considering our two losses are only cause our offense was absolutely abysmal. If our O was at least competant, we could have won this against a terribly injured team, but alas, we couldn't capitalize.

i dont get these calls... but the WR could have held on better in each case. nick folk is just as much to blame as the offense... can't leave a gooseegg up there for 4 quarters.

Did he turn the ball over in GB territory 3 times? This statement is almost as ignorant as complaining about Keller being horrible. You guys can't forget the offense as a whole, I would love to see the official stat of how many passes were dropped by the offense.

This offense this week was embarrassing.

kicker has 1 job and that's to kick. scoring points is contagious, if you never break the goose-egg it weighs on the offense... and everyone starts pressing for big plays cause they didn't hit the field goal. It's an awful, gut-wrenching play to miss that field goal. it seems minor but it's no way to win football games. if he hits it's 3-3 and who knows? instead they didn't score a point all game.

A FG would have been nice, but it still didn't matter considering our offense either kept punting or turning the ball over to take away giving folk anymore chances. The kicking game could have gotten better, if only Folk had more chances, he might have had a better day. It's not like the D didn't try and get the ball back for the offense to try and get any points on numerous occasions.

supposedly the ruling on the field is that those 2 passes were intercepted. They cant overturn the call because the challenge was that the receiver was already down. Stupid catch 22 rule. even when ref clearly seen that the ball wasnt intercepted he isnt alllowed to change the call!

lol Keller is such a douche. He gets up and points towards the ground lackadaisically.

You can have all the talent in the world, if you don't play with fire and like you want it you'll always be inconsistent and you won't get to the top.

Guys like Michael Jordan and Jerry Rice never took things easy, every single play, every practice session, it didn't matter what the situation was, these dudes acted like it was life or death. Keller, and the rest of the Jets O, wins a few games in a row and they think they can just coast. Dumb.

Tie goes to the offense (well, that's what I thought the rule was before today). My problem with the call if anything was Rex using his challenge on the INT with Cotchery. Essentially it was a non-factor whether or not he won the challenge or not, since the play occured on a 3rd and long. So what, we win the challenge for better field position? Take it for what is worth and have it in your back pocket for another potential bad call. Hindsight's a bitch sure, but poor use of challenges on the Smith fumble (clearly the ball was out) and the Cotchery one (really, no true argument or reward in winning)

Either way when you team puts up 0 points you don't deserve to win period.

We got ROYALLY screwed on both these calls. They were just awful. I've never seen that called like that before let alone twice in one game to screw us out of productive drives. Playing bad doesn't give the refs the right to screw us on those calls. The way these games are officiated is a complete travesty.
