Jetkid94
pats 6-1 Jets steelers ravens chiefs And one of colts/texans will be 5-2 we are one of 5 afc teams at 5-2 only the patriots have a better record then us in the whole NFL and we've proven we can beat them there In the division and it's not hard to jump in front of them there is not one team in the afc that you can say is a clear cut favorite over us. Yes the patriots have a better record but I don't believe they are the powerhouse of the afc no team is glaringly better then us we just played the worst game on offense we will play all year our offense has played fine 5 of 7 weeks the offense will be at least average the rest of the way The defense will be great The ravens have had a couple not so good games the steelers had a couple not so good games the chiefs as well and the texans and colts are both having some tough weeks we are fine and in a good position Just beat Detroit and we finish another quarter at 3-
Greenranger
Exactly, we had a bad game. We will rebound next week.
Jetkid94
and forgot to mention although the pats have one loss they have had a couple not so good games So basically it's not just us who have played a couple games that we'd like to play better in and improve

Maxman
Sucks though, I was hoping for Jets W, Pats L and Pitt L. That would have been a good day.

THE ILK
Did they get shutout coming off their bye too?
JiF
Good post kid. Did they get shutout coming off their bye too? No, but they faced a reeling Saints team and if it werent for a break away run, they would have only put up 3 points. And that was in a dome, with a 2 time SB winning QB. They should fire the OC. PatsFanTX
Bullsh*t Jets will go 6-10 Pats 15-1 Season is over. Come on SMC, the Pats will finish no better than 14-2 or 13-3. Let's be realistic here.

JiF
Which does not change the fact. Yes but acting like their SB of last year has any impact on the outcome of this years season is silly. Especially considering how bad they've been. Steelers were supposed to be the best team in Football. The Saints just lost to the Browns. Its the NFL, any given Sunday a team can look all world or straight doodoo.

JiF
I have not argued that anywhere, even you picked us to win once this year. I'm confused...you brought up GB and SB's...not me. Whatever. I'm not even sure what we are arguing here. And I'm clearly not good at picking games.

I also said you have picked us to lose every week except the ravens game. Where did I go wrong?
dbatesman
Winning two of the last five Super Bowls is a pretty reliable bulwark against fan freakouts.
GodWearsAGrayHoodie
IMHO, Jet fans should not freak out over this lose. Jets lost to a very good team. Odds are the Jets will lose a few more, so will the Patriots. If the Jets lose to the Lions next week that is a reason to freak. In all likelihood the division will be decided in Foxoboro on Dec 6th. It is unlikely the Jets will lose enough other games for NE to be able to lose that game and win the division. Likewise, it is unlikely the NEP will lose enough other games for the Jets to be able to lose that game and still win the division. The loser will in all likihood get the 5 or 6 seed wildcard.
