Miami is such a minor league town.......I saw game 7 of the 2000 Knicks/Heat Playoff game (Allan Houston shot) for 20 bucks.....i sat in the first row of the Upper Level at about half court......the same tix for the games in NYC were going for 350 bucks or more. The funniest part of the whole Lebron situation was watching the Heat jack up there prices. They raped there fans with an average overall ticket price of $311. The Heat’s average price last year? $81. That’s a huge increase of 280%. And these rubes snapped them up thinking they were gonna scalp them off! Well, game 2 into the regime and i can get in for the price of a movie ticket. Looks like the Heat need an "Orange Carpet" ala the Dolphins to keep the folks attention!! Dude i have lowers and there arn't any lowers going for 12 bucks. lol. I bought my tix to watch the game, not to sell them and make a profit. I'm not a scalper, i'm a fan, and if for some reason i wasn't able to attend the game i would give them to friend or family memeber before listing them on craigslist or some overpriced bullsh*t broker site. This was a weak attempt to try and trash the Miami heat and i understand you talking about fans and ticket prices because you can't say sh*t about our actual team. I cant stand them! example...i play poker pretty regularly and always try to wear some sort of jets gear to rile up others at the table. This one guy i see in the casino regularly had his Dolphins gear on starting in July. Every time i saw him he was wearing a stupid Dolphins Jersey talking about how "Dolphans are the best, screw your Jets, Blah, blah, blah." The day after we smack the dolphins around in there own house on sunday night football i go to the casino in my Jets jersey and that same guy is sitting there in HEAD TO TOE MIAMI HEAT GEAR!! Im like WTF, you embarrased to wear your Dolphins stuff today!?? He starts going on about how he doesnt even really like the Dolphins, he is a huuuge Heat fan more than anything else! Last week for the home opener, people were calling up the radio stations mad because they bought the overpriced tickets when they went on sale in July I believe and there was tickets available for half the price on game night.
