DMC is a beast.

There are plenty of haters on the kid that clearly never saw him play. He's a stud. He just needs to stay healthy.

When he was struggling, I even said, guarantee if you put him a team like the Jets he'd be unstoppable.

JIF Ive watched him closely the past few weeks and he seems to have toughened up a bit maybe hes turning the corner. Good for him. I was a bit harsh in my last assessment of him hes been running hard and moving piles, he never did that. The Raiders are looking good. Maybe he can talk the real pussy of that draft not sure if I need to mention the name. :D

Meh, I dont think you watched as much as your leading on while he was in college. I literally watched every one of his games and the dude was an absolute beast that did everything everyone claimed he couldnt. Mostly because they were hot talking point for draftniks that truly had no merit.

But whatever, its a moot point. Kid will be good. Damn good.

Did I watch A LOT in college ? no, but I saw enough... and I dont think he ran as hard as hes running now. Did he really have to ?

In the SEC, you have to run hard on every down. The kid was beastly and doing it with out any passing game. He took a lot of snaps from center and also made some TD throws. But yes, the kid ran really hard all over the SEC. Not an easy thing to do.

I honestly dont know where all the talking points from his haters came from...they were totally unwarranted and off base.

2 sh*tty years dont erase 4 good games.

That being said, he looks like a different player this season.

Thats what happens when you are healthy and your team starts to play something resembling Football.

so, if Gholston goes out and has 6 sacks over the next 4 games, then us Gholston wanters are right?

Yes.

Of course you know that's a silly argument based on it's utter improbability. Waste of ink. Oh wait, we're on the internet. Waste of energy. Now look at what you've done, I too have wasted energy replying to such silliness.

The great, wonderful thing about football message boards is, if you wait long enough, hold tight, eventually every agenda comes around to being correct, eventually-even if it is short and waning.

This week is that cataclysmic congruence of agenda chest thumping-Schotty, McFadden, TX being TX.......

Football message boards-where "I told ya how smart I am" will eventually come around.

LOL, QFT. But as quickly as it comes, is as quickly as it goes too.

I totally remember all that stuff you said about him at draft time. That's how important your opinions are to me.

Kudos on being right, dude.

i also seen him play in college, he ran through holes that you could drive a truck through and went down at first contact!

Hes playing GOOD JIF and I gave him credit but hes far from a beast, very far.

Meh, not really. I've never seen an SEC running back do what he did on a team that literally was zero threat to throw the ball. He faced 9 in the box on every down. No joke. Sure, his Oline made some big holes, but to think he didnt run hard and make a lot of those holes with his vision, is naive. And he most certainly didnt go down on first contact.

JIF maybe our defintion of Beast is whats holding us back here. My definition of a beast is a guy like Earl Campbell, you know a guy who runs people over because hes a BEAST. Walter Peyton was also a beast because when tacklers came near him on the sidelines HE NEVER ran out of bounds he lowered his shoulder and delivered a crushing blow. Kind of like Shonn Greene ran in the playoffs last year knocking over tacklers and running through them. Thats not McFadden and never ever will be. He has talent (speed) but when it comes to breaking tackles and making safties pay and think twice about the next tackle McFadden is way down on the bottom of the list, hes no a beast.

Fair enough. And thats probably the difference. I mean beast in the way of, he can dominate a game.

Heh I knew exactly what ya meant. I just had to get the hard running aspect of my point in there and this was the best way to do it. Since I have the Ticket I watch alot of games I make sure I focus more on the Raida's and Mr McFadden in the more physical games.
