So I had my first McRib in about a decade last night....

and my mind wasn't blown. I felt let down even. I feel like the old school lunches that used to imitate the McRib did a better job.

Next time I'll ask them to double or even triple dip it in the sauce.

Promotion started yesterday...it's at all McDonald's until December 5th according to some random that worked there.

Dad gets out of the hospital yesterday. Drive down to NY to see him. Tells me to go buy him and mom a McRib.

Couldnt bring myself to have a McRib again. Last time they were out it disappointed. Now i'll stick with the memories.

Is he okay? He wasn't in there to have yoga mat material removed from his stomach, was he? Or was he getting plastic surgery with that sweet, sweet WOF money? Glad he's home for the holidays.

Yep. He's doing well. At first they thought he had a liver problem, then discovered he had gall stones... even though his gall bladder was taken out in the 80's.

No surgery needed this time... just down the throat and through the stomach. hopefully this will end his stomach pains for good.
