The combination of the Jets Loss vs Green Bay & the Lions Win vs. Washington has Lions nation ready to march on Dallas and demand a Super Bowl appearance.

You ought to hear the media & most of all, the fans around Detroit right now. The Lions have this one in the bag and a magical win against the Redskins has apparently mentally jarred the franchise from 15 years of ineptitude.

Make no mistake, this isn't a game the Jets can just sleep walk through.....but come on already.

If the Jets blow this, I'm going to have to go into Witness Protection.

Yep. Every Lions board I checked in on to get a feel for the team has 75% of the posters predicting victory.

They have some nice young talent on the DL, RB, QB but if we are serious contenders we just have to win this game. The game is also the FIRST sellout of the season and will be the first time that there is no blackout according to the Detroit papers.

Peter King picks us by a point while a few other talking heads like the Lions. It weill be loud in the dome so hopefully we run at will early followed by some play action to take the crowd out of it.
