What a buffoon. Has there ever been a player who ran their mouth but do so little on the actual field? Mason OWNS him in the postgame presser.

“He deserved it,” Mason said. “They told me at the end of the week they were going to get him back for me and they did.”

Mason, who had four catches for 42 yards and a touchdown, ripped Crowder’s ability in a long rant.

“The guy was either on the ground or getting pushed out of bounds. Willis (McGahee) stiffarmed him and made him look like a fool. There comes a point in time when you’re going to talk the talk walk the walk. He figured he can talk his way through a game. He tried that a few years ago with coach (Rex) Ryan and it didn’t work. I don’t understand why this guy continues to talk. This is not boxing. You can’t scare your opponent. You got to play football and the guy doesn’t want to play football. The guy can’t play football, point blank.”

“The first sign of respect is, Don’t disrespect your opponent, and he disrespected his opponent early in the week. You have to be able in this sport to be able to back up what you talk. And for some reason this guy, every time he says something, he doesn’t back it up. He’s not a marquee player. I don’t think they even want him on this team, but they have no one to replace him. So he has to be there.”

“They took him out of the game and he played a little bit better. He’s in the game, he’s getting knocked down, he’s getting pushed out of the way. The guy is horrible. Honestly, the guy is horrible. He’s probably a good guy, not taking that away from him, but he’s horrible. He’s not a good football player. Honestly he needs to go back and watch the film and humble himself and not say anything.”

Holy sh*t he got roasted :rl: :rl: :rl:

Damn Derrick Mason ripped him a shiny new a$$hole. I dont think Ive ever seen that level of rippage by a player about an opposing player in...ever. Usually players are diplomatic when speaking to the press. I like Derick Mason, he's cool by me.

Yet this is the same Mason who was on his high horse saying to leave everything out of the papers. He played well, yet still has to go off on this rant. I think Crowder is as much a fool as the next guy, but this is the height if hipocrisy that Mason is going off on a legit rant, when he tries to play it off as the bigger man. He's the better player by far, but if you wanna be the bigger man too, just say nothing.

"Then they said something about they let [Dolphins linebacker] Karlos Dansby get away with a face mask the play before," Crowder said. "Who the f--- cares? A guy just spit in my face! I don't give a damn about Karlos pulling somebody's face mask. Like they didn't see [Dolphins quarterback] Chad Henne get hit twice when he slid. Yeah, a little Stevie Wonder and Anne Frank."

Asked what the Anne Frank reference meant, Crowder said "Who was that? Is that the blind girl? Helen Keller ... I don't know who the f--- Anne Frank is. I'm mad right now. F--- it. I'm not as swift as I usually am.

I don't think Mason is trying at all to make himself look like the bigger man, I think you're just taking his original comment to mean something more than it did. Basically, the point being as a matter of respect you typically don't say sh*t like that about your opponent to the media, but since he did, Mason is giving him a taste of his own medicine. When you're the one who starts the sh*t-talk, you open yourself up to have it come right back at you. It's the exact reason you can't get too upset when comments are made about some of the Jets bigger-mouthed players / coaches. I don't think Mason is pretending for a second that he's not doing it, but rather that his comments are in direct response to Crowder's. There's A LOT of people in this world who would never start crap-talking, but would certainly respond if somebody else started it about them. Mason just happens to be one of those people, I'm not sure what's so horrible about that.

Clearly Channing Crowder learns his history lessons from fine educational cinema such as Clerks II.

Dante Hicks: Have you become so embittered that you now feel the need to attack the handicapped?

Randal Graves: What handicap? They guy's just in a wheelchair, it's not like he's Anne Frank or something.

Dante Hicks: Anne Frank?

Randal Graves: Yeah, Anne Frank. The chick that was all duhhh, till the miracle worker showed up and knocked some smarts into her.

Dante Hicks: You're talking about Helen Keller.

Randal Graves: No I'm not, I'm talking about Anne Frank. She was deaf, dumb and blind.

Dante Hicks: No she wasn't. Helen Keller was deaf, dumb and blind.

Randal Graves: Are you sure?

Dante Hicks: Yup.

Randal Graves: Then who the ****'s Anne Frank?

Guy is a moron.

Doesn't know they speak English in London, either, but he knows for sure there are no black people there.

You don't spit in someones face. I'm gonna have to take Crowders side on this one.

You are assuming that it really happened...McClain said "We were face to face and I never spitin his face..If I did it wasn't on purpose"..A spit while yelling is a little different then conjuring up a lugie on purpose. I don't believe anything from Crowder, he is just trying to cover his mouth and ownage by throwing out accusations the other way.

NO WAY someone loses it like Crowder did and not actually get spit in the face. You can hope all you want that he didn't get spit in the face because Crowders a POS that plays for a division rival - I'm fine with that. But I just don't see it that way.

You don't spit in someone face.
