CobraVerde
Sure our offense didnt put up 30+ points...sure our defense didnt pitch a shut out...sure we didnt run back every punt and kickoff for a touchdown...you can say all that and then some about how bad our team played..but when push came to shove, when our back was against the wall this team pulled together and came through. When everyone was convinced that we wouldnt pull it off this team rallyed got its crap together and pulled out an amazing comeback. This will be a great learning experience for this team and it will come as a great reminder in the future that there is no quit and we have the talent to overcome adversity. respect... Last year at this time this team lost several of these type games. This year they are winning them. I consider that improvement.

When you get a QB that can bring a team back from 10 down and win, that is always a good thing. Hopefully this game will be springboard to bigger and better things. slowmoe57
Guys sitting in that stadium with about 7 minutes left the place was loud smme Lion fans talking sh*t I had zero confidence we were going to win. For some reason I remembered 2000 game against Tampa. I almost got up to walk out of Ford Field I was so pissed off but decided no I am going to ride it out. As the comeback progressed I sat there just stunned but in the back of my mind I'M thinking Someones going to fumble or Sanchez will throw a pick. Years ago thats exactly what would have happened. I still can not believe we won it sure made for a great trip and alot less tension going to the next upstart team THE CLEVELAND BROWNS. GO JETS
jussssstme
Ya know, sitting in the stadium with my Patriot Buddy Tom, getting beat by the Lions, knowing I had a 10 hour car drive home when all was said and done, the one solace I had early in the game was that the Browns were beating the Rats. Then, the moment came, and Sanchez marched us up and down the field on 3 straight possessions, getting us the tie we needed and then winning it Overtime. It was a much more enjoyable ride home with that awesome, no quit in them, come from behind victory. Especially with the beating that the patriots suffered. As I told Tom on the ride home, he might have seen the Sanchez signature moment. Mark could have let them become the SOJ, losing the week before, losing against the Lions, they could have folded and went home still just a game out. But no, Sanchez stood tall, didn't hesitate, didn't look like a rookie. He made the plays when he needed, and drove them down the field. Here is hoping that we witnessed Mark's man up moment where he refused to lose.

Bleedin Green
Regarding the whole Sanchez comeback situation, that was certainly great and it's starting to become a little bit of a trend. These past 3 weeks have been far from his best play, but the guy has sure stepped it up in the end when it counted. In two of the past three games, the Jets have drove down the field late in the fourth to come from behind to win it. In the one game they lost, the Jets very well could have accomplished the very same thing if not for a pathetic display of WR play by Cotchery (including 3 straight drops, including one in the endzone, when down only 6-0). He needs to be more consistent and the Jets need to do something to get him into a rhythm earlier in the game, but so far he's shown a knack for stepping up when it matters most. There's no reason not to be happy about that. Sure, he's had a little help along the way with some calls and things like that, but half the battle is having your team in the position to get those breaks. Tom Brady's made a career off of those type of things in his early years, and if it leads to wins, I'll be more than happy to take those breaks too. slats
I hated sitting thru about 55 minutes of it, but in the end it was a terrific win. I'm hoping for short and long term improvement from Sanchez and the offense from here on out. Mark's been in a funk for weeks. I'm hoping this victory does three things: Increases Mark's confidence level. Forget about body language. The improved body language will come naturally with improved confidence. I get the fake it until you make it concept, but actually making it is much, much better. Increases the players' level of confidence in Sanchez. The receivers need to believe in their QB. That belief will in turn lead to fewer drops. You hear them saying the right things (or wrong, in the case of Braylon this week), but tangible results on the field builds that confidence. Increases the coaches' level of confidence in Sanchez. Whether it's Schottenheimer trying to outsmart the opposition, or Rex wanting to stick with the ground & pound, legitimately turning to the QB and saying, this is your team, will go a long way. They need to put the football in his hands. Trust him to make plays with it. That confidence -or lack thereof- trickles down to the team. I'm hoping to see a looser offense this week. A little more swaggerliciousness on that side of the ball. A QB who wants the responsibility in his hands. Receivers who don't want to let their QB down. And coaches willing to let their $50M QB play.
SenorGato
The win showed alot of character. Coming back 10 points on the road is never easy, and the fact that it was the QB that led the way was huge. It was a really good win for a team that just needs to get the W more than anything else. So far the Lions, Packers, and Broncos have all put the game on the young QBs hands and he's responded two out of the 3 times.
