vinnys025
Just wondering how many of you have any mental illnesses such as anxiety, depression, ocd, bi polar, ect... and if you post here compulsively because of it. I'm doing a study and I'm finding out how common these illnesses are and how the internet fuels these disorders and also helps them. If you want, just PM me. I understand this is a personal topic, however I know there is no way some of you guys can post 100 posts a day and not be compulsive....well, thats my assumption anyway.

I just can't see how people can find the time in such a short span, it seems as though there is no down time. This isn't part of my study, this is just me being a silly a$$. Pay no mind. Do you actually get any work done with these amounts of posts? I still don't see it being possible, go look at some of the posts per day. We are sort of getting off topic. I really just wanted to know if anyone knows or has any sort of mental illnesses and weather or not the internet has helped or enhanced it. That's it really. That's it really. What's your hypothesis, and how are you actually planning on reliably testing it? You've set up a self report in a Jets message board no apparent variables but a hunch that no one has time to post a lot, so you must be mentally unstable if you do. What literature are you working with to back this up? The question, 'Did the internetz create a DSM (where you must be working from) diagnosis in you?' is not a scientific measure. Or, are you simply culling a report of peoples opinions who match with yours? Hence, why I was curious of your qualifications...

Hey when the phone rings I answer it -- if a problem comes up I fix it -- If I post that means everything is ontime and running smooth. To bad the inferior product keeps the name. most of all I keep my job and seniority.

AFJF
Funny story (at least I think it's funny) about when I was being tested for A.D.D. I sat down with the evaluator while he read all of the instructions to me on how we were going to proceed and I swear, all I heard him say was "do you understand these instructions as I've read them to you" and I was like "oh sh*t, I wasn't paying attention that whole time" and I had to wing it.
