On pace for one every 21.4 attempts??? Ummm what do we wash out the attempts in the first 5 games where he didn't throw one? It says 147 without one, so let's add that to the 107 attempts after that and divide by 5 and we get one interception per every 50.8 attempts for the first half of season.

Sure, but if you want to micromanage INTs, then you need to look at some ridiculously bad throws where the DB just flat out dropped the ball.

Second year starters often take a noticeable step backwards. Teams have a full year of film to study to defend these guys. There's more on their plates, and that usually leads to more mistakes. Guys like Brees and Eli Manning took a couple years to get their sh*t together.

Fans watching Sanchez can see that he's playing better this year. Don't love the guy yet, but he's actually winning games for the team this year when last year they were either winning despite him, or losing because of him - at least until the stretch run. He's a streaky QB who plays with a lot of emotion, and I'd expect his streakiness to settle down as he matures. This is a very young QB who came into the league with very little college experience, and got thrown right into the fire in a big market team with high expectations. Overall, I'm pretty damn happy with where the guy is currently at.

Not gonna say those int's vs. Green Bay were bad calls, but they never should've happened. Those are on his receivers. He's been very careful with the football this year, but that hasn't stopped him from making plays downfield - where usually that extra care will result in more timid play (as we saw in the opener).

In fact lets do a little math. Sanchez has completed 136 of 254. Factor in the 13 drops from your half-assed stats plus Braylon's two drops, Shonn Greene's drop from the Ravens game and the Packers game, LT's drop from the Packer's game, and those two INTS which were complete crap, and Sanchez has a completion percentage of 61.4% and thats not even all of the drops. All while Cindy Bieber has a completion percentage of 63.6%.
