Greenranger
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/11/12/bart-scott-slapped-with-chinstrap-fine/ With all the fines being handed out this year for things that guys have done on the field, Jets linebacker Bart Scott received a fine for something he didn’t do in Week Nine against the Lions. Specifically, Scott didn’t buckle his chinstrap. Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the league has fined Scott $10,000 for this uniform violation, which is more about safety than uniformity. SoFlaJets
So wait, the Detroit Lions player who was fined twice for 5 grand per each dirty hit is penalized the same amount as a guy who didn't buckle his chin strap? Goodell is a friggin disgrace and a joke. GTFOH

Safety my a$$-what about all those cheap shot artists diving at our offensive linemen's knees? What about Mark Sanchez' 'safety' when that idiot hit him late and then twisted his knee on the ground? #27TheDominator
lol It's even funnier cause it's true. How many times have you seen Scott's helmet pop off? If your chin strap is on tight it's hard to get any real good yelping in.
