Apologize to Cotchery!

Looks like a hip flexor injury, or the one quad muscle that is a hip flexor. But man what a great catch. That's the Cotch we've come to know as a Jet.

I hope he's ok...I'm sure he is because he is a freakin' warrior (like Kellen Winslow Jr would say)

The way people have been talking about Cothery around here is a perfect example of how fans have no more loyalty to the players than the players do to their teams. The guy has been a true professional from day one. Just does his job and keeps his mouth shut. God forbid he has a bad stretch at some pint in his career and all of a sudden Jet "Fans" are calling for him to be cut. Great job J-CO!

+1. Is anyone really surprised that Cotch would come back and make some great plays after a shaky stretch? I think everyone was just so surprised to see him dropping the ball that they didn't know what to think. But man that catch today was all kinds of ridiculous.

Cotchery gets a tremendous amount of credit for that play, but that doesn't erase his prior poor performance the last few weeks.

He was in a slump, and that happens.

Unfortunately, he'll likely be out the next 2 games because the Jets play on Thanksgiving.

DID YOU SEE HIM LIMPING BEFORE MAKING THAT AMAZING CATCH???

this board owes him an apology for dissing him the past 2 weeks!

No we don't.

His drops cost us a game. He made an awesome play there and I applaud him, but it doesn't make up for the drops.

And I won't be surprised to find out he may have been playing hurt in the game where he had the drops, but didn't become visibly apparent till today.

Not one sorry for hating on him. Guy has more heart than anyone else on the team and nobody has said sorry to him. I understand that not everyone jumped on the "hate" wagon, but I sure did. Here is to one of the greatest WR3's in the game right now.

Sorry sir, I rushed to judgement.
