JetsFanInDenver
I was sold on Schotty's play calling where Sanchez had to escape pressure and threw to a limping Cotchery who stretched and made a outof this world catch. Way to draw it coach!

Jetsfan80
I just love watching Sanchez drop back to pass, seeing no one open anywhere because no one is running real NFL routes, then Sanchez gets hit by a defensive player, then avoids another defensive player, scrambles backwards, buys more time, STILL sees no one open, then throws an ill-advised pass across the field and the receiver somehow makes the catch. Let's just sign David Tyree and Dwight Clark to go along with our other receivers that make crazy catches. They'll come in handy when we get to the playoffs. Klecko73isGod
If Schotty had a great game today we wouldn't have seen overtime. How bout a fade route to Braylon in the red zone you stupid dipsh*t?
SenorGato
I am sure that's exactly the way our Real OC drew it!!!! Of course it was. That's the only way plays and offense works. If Schotty had a great game today we wouldn't have seen overtime. How bout a fade route to Braylon in the red zone you stupid dipsh*t? 1. The fade thing is valid until it doesn't work. Then it's "Why!?!?!?!!" all over again. 2. Kicker left what...9 points on the field but it's the OCs fault? OC's fault the "best D in the league" blew the lead in the 4th? 3. A year ago, this team would have quit.

T0mShane
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah, the offense doesn't really work and the quarterback is near-clueless. Is one a product of the other? Yes. Who's supposed to fix it? Brian Schottenheimer. That homeboy is jobless the day this season ends, guaranteed.

I agree with Tom that Schottenheimer is probably gone after the season. Where I disagree is that it's "his fault" the offense is "under performing." Yes, he's never had Peyton Manning, but he's never made an offense consistently function and he's been here a long, long time. Eventually, you just have to shoot the common denominator. Jetsfan80
Ruining 5 top 5 talent offenses in a row is accomplishment? Umm, this is actually a knock against Schottenheimer. The talent has been there as you admit above, but we've never finished above 16th. At best, Schottenheimer is nothing special and very average as an OC. At worst he's sufficiently below average and has wasted a lot of talent. In either case, we can do better, perhaps even with guys already on our coaching staff. No, no...I understand that logic...That's actually one of the good reasons to fire a coach and the reason the Magnini firing made sense. That doesn't mean said coach actually sucks... Also, Sanchez has been playing much better than anyone thought he would...It's possible that some of that should go on the OC. *Witty pic*
