Integrity28
How do we stop them? Discuss. Chad Esteban Ochocinco 85 Johnson? No problem, we've got Cromartie. Terrell "TO" Locker Room Cancer Owens? No problem, we've got Revis. Cedric 3 yards and a cloud of dust Benson? No problem, we've got Devito, Pouha, Ellis, Scott and Harris. How the **** are we going to stop the #3 WR? and the TE? Teams were able to hurt us from those positions last year, this year it has gotten worse. Can the Jets D fix this problem and shut down the Bungles on Thanksgiving night? I don't know if I can stomach another roller coaster, near loss, game like the past few weeks with a belly full of Thanksgiving awesomeness... I know one things is for sure... I'm starting Gresham on my fantasy team. ******* Dreesen.

I'm starting Gresham on my fantasy team. ******* Dreesen. 1) Play Eric Smith less. I wish I was kidding. 2) Stop blowing coverages. Our defense gives up big plays and we've had issues with this all season. The Moss over Revis TD was on a secondary miscommunication. Harvin's TDs were on blown coverage/Revis being hurt. Dreessen's TD, Against Miami, etc. There's not much you can do if they exploit physical matches with good execution, but it's another when they can frolic in the endzone because the secondary doesn't ******* know their responsibilities on a given play. On a short week, those are really the only two things at our disposal. Kyle Wilson's progression should help out, but our safeties are bad. T0mShane
Let Mike Devito wear Kimo Von Oelhoffwn's old jersey and watch Carson Palmer get flagged for 15 straight intentional grounding penalties.
New York Mick
Get pressure on the QB.

You can't sleep on the Bungle's offense, it is their defense that loses games for them... much like the Texans.

That was sort of my point. It kind of scares me how confident I am ahead of this game - The Jets are finding ways to win against a team that finds ways to lose. The Bengals are so bad. Integrity28
Get pressure on the QB. Agreed. With adequate pressure on opposing QBs, our defense would not get abused as much by 3rd and 4th checkdowns. That said, where does this pressure come from? Extra defenders rushing the passer, meaning less defenders in coverage to defend the 3rd and 4th checkdowns.... kind of a self-perpetuating conundrum, if you will. We don't have a better pass rusher on the roster, so where do we go from her? Does stick with what he's been doing? Or would we be better off dropping more guys into coverage? I'm inclined to think we don't change anything, we just need to change our expectations of this D. They aren't going to finish #1, and that's okay... as long as we lead the league in wins. SenorGato
According to Bengals fans their OC doesn't even use those 2. Hit them...One isn't very big and the other one has a pretty decent injury history. That's always the best way to stop offensive guys anyway... Mattyandthejets
the bengals fans have been livid all year about the poor play of their o line, hopefully we can blanket to and ocho with revis and cro and open the floodgates for blitzing palmer. TO has been carson's secuirty blanket all season long, when revis takes him away carson will start making mistakes. the bengals probably dont even want to play a game on thanksgiving, they are probably ready for the season to be over at this point. when you get outscored 35-0 by the bills in the second half then need to travel to 8-2 ny jets and on thanksgiving no less I think bengals players would be happy with just giving the jets win by default and then go home and have thanksgiving with their families. neckdemon
the ******* buffalo bills just hung 50 points on the bengals. if we can't beat the bengals we don't belong in th eplay-offs. this isn't a tough physical team. they are injured and i doubt they have much will left. Integrity28
I was worried about our defense stopping their 3rd and 4th targets, heh. Meanwhile our offense once again can't move the ball... on a team that gave up 50+ points to the Bills and has 3 of their 4 DBs missing. Unreal. Why do we keep letting the bottom feeders make us sweat? Struggling with these bum teams while the Pats roll inferior teams.
