Vince Young out for the season

Fisher has always hated Young and has wanted Leinart (lol...like that's any better). They will just cut him, so might as well sign him as a backup. At the very least, he is an upgrade over Brad Smith, as VY is an actual threat to complete a pass. Remember Vick started off in the wildcat when he signed for the Eagles, I don't see VY as anywhere near that open but if we insist on running that stupid package we can do better with VY.

Dont be so sure on that one. Unless of course the Raiders sign him. The NFL is a crazy place.

There would be a few teams I think that would be interested in him. The Raiders are one, and the Fish would be another as they seemed to sour on Henne. I'm not so sure the Jets would be interested anyway.

Under no circumstances should the Jets sign Young.

We have a second year QB just coming into his own, and the last thing we need is a young QB with a realistic chance to be a starter on the bench providing a QB controversy.

We need a vet who was OK in his day, but who is now content to ride the bench and squeeze a few more million out of his remaining career.

Jeff Fisher is a douche. He needs an attitude adjustment from the neck up. Theres alot more to this story than we are hearing and seeimg. I stand by my statement I made last night. Offer Tenn a 4th round pick for him.

Jeff Fisher is one of the best coaches in the NFL, it's Vince Young that needs the attitude adjustment. There's simply no justification for throwing your shoulder pads into the stands.

But Fisher's contract is up in Tennessee, and I can see him moving on to greener pastures. He's been there a long, long time, and even the best acts get old. The owner loves Young, and the new coach there will have to sing Young's praises to get the job. That won't be tough, either, as Young is a good QB today with a world of natural physical gifts that have yet to be tapped. He's only 27. He needs to mature, and he eventually will. I do not see the Titans letting him go. It would be a huge mistake if they did.

Eh. Unless the next coach is Dr. Phil, and comes equipped with a tranquilizer gun that fires lithium darts, I think it'd be foolish to bank on Vince Young. The guy is obviously talented, but his head is in chaos 24/7. Every tine he's been faced with adversity he's absolutely imploded in Tennessee. What franchise would want to try and build around that?

Thank God you aren't running this team.

Vince Young is a headcase, Fischer hasn't kept his job this long and had a competitive team year-after-year because he is the problem... looking back at that draft, sure am glad we came away with D'Brickashaw.
