LWC611
Well we really need Revis to step it up. He has not been the same this year, I chalk it up to bad Karma...Just kidding but then again, maybe not....

He has not been the same this year, I chalk it up to bad Karma...Just kidding but then again, maybe not.... We need a hell of a lot more then just Revis stepping up unless he's going to cover TO, Chad, Shipley and Gresham. The Bengals have four receivers who can make plays we don't have four DBs that can cover so they better get pressure on Palmer and make Benson fumble at least once. If your expectation is for Revis to play like he did last year ever again, you really need to take a step back and think about what you're asking. Last season was epic. It was probably the greatest season by a CB in coverage in the history of the NFL. While it's fair to expect he continue to be the greatest CB in the NFL based on his contractual demands, he will never play like he did last year every single play. It's just not reasonable to think he could.

Max McGee in 1965? Revis is just playing the averages.

Boozer76
Which is why you cant hate on the guy for wanting his money imo Of course I can. Darelle has stated he will hold out again in 2 years. His non negotiable demand is to be the highest paid CB every single year. He does not care that he has the biggest overall contract at his position (which he currently does), he wants to be the highest paid CB in each season he plays for us. If Nnambdi or any other CB gets a bigger contract and makes more than he does next season, you can bet your a$$ Mevi$ will be holding out.
SoFlaJets
Terrell Owens on Jets CB Darrelle Revis: “He's only done one thing for one year. You talk about shutdown corners you need to repeatedly do it year-in and year-out. I think he did it one year and everybody made a lot of hoopla about it." DireJet38
He's always handled T.O. even as a rookie. He actually got burnt by TO on a TD a couple years ago on Thanksgiving. I'm hoping that stuck in Revis' craw.
