Jetfan13
hold the other team to no points on the opening drive, drive ourselves but settle for a fg and then let them take the lead before halftime. Then our dee shuts them down in the second half and our off does enough to win the game...why can't we get points in the 1st half? The Jets are last in the AFC and 3rd worst in the NFL in scoring td's in the red zone..WTF is that all about?

I don't know what the issue is, but at least they are winning.

Klecko73isGod
True but if you think that same scenario will work against New England or Pitt you r nuts Not for nothin' but the Pats ain't exactly world beaters plus we've beaten them already, pounded the f**king daylights out of them as memory serves. What's funny is that for all of our last minute victories the Jets have a larger average margin of victory than the Pats. A big part of that is the fact that the Jets two losses were by a combined 10 points to two teams that are firmly in the upper third of the league and other than the time that the Jets beat up the Pats, their other loss was a major league a$$ whupping handed to them by the Cleveland freakin' Browns, a team that hasn't won again since beating the holy hell out of the Pats. Did you know that the Pats are giving up almost 400 yards per game? 399.1 to be exact. The Jets are allowing less than 300. Pats are allowing 24.2 points per game, 21st overall. Jets are allowing 17, fourth lowest in the NFL. The Jets are also, if you can believe it, ranked higher than the Pats in total offense, 361.6 yards per game to 349.2. The Pats are averaging more points than us, however: 30.4 to 24 for the Jets. The Pats have just as much reason to be concerned as we do. Plus, like Rex said, the Pats are the best team in the NFL, all the "experts" say so. Time for them to prove it.

jussssstme
True but if you think that same scenario will work against New England or Pitt you r nuts What do you mean, if we stop them on opening drive and then we score a field goal and then are losing at the half 7-3 against either NE or Pitt and then our defense domeinates in the 2nd half and we score a few TD's and win, then the result is the same. Seriously, as others have said, some of you just like being miserable. If we play the same against the steelers and the cheatriots and the outcome is the same, who really cares as long as we get the W. If we make it to the SB and we win in OT when the opposing team fumbles the OT kickoff and we recover and run it in, some of you will still be whining how we suck. Try enjoying life once in a while. Enjoy the build-up to Dec 6th. There is more pressure on the Pats, whose defense really does suck, than on the Jets. Life is meant to be lived. Try to smile people. Show me anywhere where I said we suck? My point is our chances of winning either game is less likely then winning when trailing the Browns or Lions at the half. If you guys don't see that (Kleck), you r blind. Why can't we score more then 3 points in the 1st half and have it a little easier in the 2nd? I am not miserable and love life, but I am also concerned with our offense playing one half per week.
