Integrity28
These Jets are far from perfect. But they know how to win... and that is all that matters. Getting no love from the media is a good thing... I want the Jets to have a chip on their shoulders. They do have something to prove, and I don't want them to forget it. Beating the piss out of Brady is going to be so sweet... this team is going to have to put up with 2nd class treatment for 10th days... then unleash hello on that pansy. SenorGato
and the fan base is nervous usually means big win coming up ! Sounds nervous. I'm not falling for that...they're going to have to be on their A game...this is a much better Patriots team than the one from week 2 or w/e it was. Guest Jpf4671
I'm probably in the minority with this and I know it's not in rex's DNA but man oh man I wish he would just lay off the public bravado for one stinking week, just ONE, the pats more than any other team feed off that stuff. Did they feed off of it in the 1st meeting? This smack talking between teams is a little over rated IMO. Did calling TO a slouch make any difference in last nights game for example? No they didn't feed off it in the first game so good point there, but as far as last night goes revis certainly was aware of owens' calling him average, he said as much in the post game, although he most likely would've shut down owens either way. Well that's really my point - they traded barbs, but what changed? Nothing. The end result would have been the same. This bulletin board material is a bunch of BS really. redman81
I don't think Rex is even saying anything you could consider bulletin board material anyways, even if it did matter. I doubt him saying they are a great team with the best coach, but we believe we can win this game is really going to make any patsie fired up. New York Mick
Winning this game could put the Jets on the fast track to the SB so I'm glad that no one is giving them any respect. If they win the next three games no one can have anything say about them other then, holy **** the Jets might make the ******* SB.

But it shouldnt be a surprise, they are the mighty Pats, we are the lowly Jets. Love being the underdog.
Smashmouth
This one is going to fall heavily on the Defense. The Pats D has not been playing well so if our D can stop their offense we should be ok but unlike everyone else I dont expect sh*tty to be fooling anyone on Monday night so it may come down to the end of the game in a defense struggle. Smashmouth
Also one big thing to keep in mind ...Calvin Pace showed up finally vs the Bengals. Says his foot feels good and thats going to be huge vs the Pats. Pace looked like himself again.

When healthy he can be very disruptive and we need somebody who can get to the QB without sending the house.

I wept reading that...He's so like me!! My god he knows the advantages are all for the Patriots...he knows he can f*ck it up...he knows he and his coaches are just 3 of the luckiest fools in the league...yet he stands there with the weight of the world on his shoulders as if it is nothing...I salute thee Rex Ryan, leader of the Jets! That's a nice job of twisting what I said, I just re-read my post and missed the part where I called Rex a loud mouth cocky blow hard. But that's cool, you're usually a great poster so here's to agreeing to disagree. Cheers.
