Could the Eagles be more over-rated?

The Giants showed the league how to attack Vick last week on D.

This week the Bears bring their 30th ranked offense to the table to show the league how to pick about their D.

I wonder if the Lombardi Trophy that the media gave Philly 2 weeks ago during the height of the "ZOMG MIKE VICK IZ TEH AWEZOME!" festival is refundable? Sure hope so... their going to have to come up to Foxboro and re-claim the one they gave the Patriots this week too, after we're done with them.

No, they can not. That said, if they were to play the Bears in the playoffs...I'd still pick the Eagles.

I know Dixon has played well, but they really really miss Bunkley. If anything they just learned that the best 2 DTs on the roster are Bunkley and Dixon, and with the size/power of those two the Cole/Graham duo at DE has a nice future.

Giants will win the division.

the eagles are overrated (especially on Defense) but it should be noted that field was a mess.

A pretty good way to nullify the speed of Vick, Jackson, Maclin and McCoy is to play the game on slop.

Jackson drew the wrath of Reid, because he did not have his head right in pre-game, and then greatly shied from any contact during the game. It appears that the big hits have already taken a toll on him.

I dont see why one loss on the road against a team who put together their best performance of the year makes the Eagles overrated. Was anyone ever saying the Eagles were the best team in Football, or even the NFC for that matter? I dont recall that at all.

The Eagles are a hard team to prepare for because of Michael Vick. If you cant simulate it in practice, its hard to adjust during the game. Luckily for the Bears, that field was a mess and it was much easier to contain Vick yesterday than it has been all season. Throw in the fact Cutler played the game of his life, and it makes sense why the Eagles looked like an average team.

I havent seen the slobbering of the nob on the Eagles, more so just on Michael Vick, so I dont see how one loss makes them overrated team when they werent really rated to be more than maybe the best team in the NFC east. Nobody had them better than Atlanta or Green Bay...and maybe now Chicago since they might take that division.

I guess it depends on the media outlets you watch/listen to, but for the past few weeks I have observed a heavy dose, after every great Mike Vick performance, of Eagles nob slobbering. They have been lauded by the media. Talked about like the "team to beat" in the NFC... and since the "team to beat" conversation changes every week because the media is a joke, yes, I do think they were over-rated for a couple weeks. This week, the media has focused on the Pats as the "team to beat" in the AFC... next week, after we whip them, it'll be us... but probably not, they'll probably still say we are lucky. Effin media

all that is fine and dandy but why is the defense getting scorched for 30+ points? losing asante hurts that unit, but they were never that good to begin with.

Gotcha. I dont listen those idiots. The media talks out both sides of their mouths. One week a team sucks, the next week they are the best team in Football. That moron Theisman literally said during our Thanksgiving game, that the team with the best record in Football was a "bad" Football team referring to the Jets.

And I've definitely heard the slobbering of Vick, but oddly not that much of the Eagles. I've heard they are going to be tough defend and I think thats true, but most media outlets I listen to think the Falcons and Packers are the best teams in the NFC while keeping a close eye on the Saints getting hot.

The Eagles will be fine and will win the NFC East as long as they get Samuel back.

Yesterday they were without both their starting CB's and Cutler played lights out.

And for all the Vick haters out there that TD pass he threw to Celek was about as good as you can throw a football.
