Bugg
My son's POp Warner team ran that play. The other team's coaches were screaming so the kids playing safety stopped the QB for about a 10 yard gain.
#27TheDominator
We used a similar one here in the adult flag league. It was fairly successful - I think 2 TDs in 3 attempts. WR takes off, ball is snapped, rest of team just stands around. It works better if somebody on your team has been jumping offsides every single time the snap count isn't "one". JerryK
I've heard several opinions on this play. I thought it was cool at first, but I'll play devil's advocate and offer a different opinion. For adult or even HS leagues, I'm cool with this play. But at this video's age level, the kids are learning the basics of tackling, schemes, and coverage. So.... - Was this 'kids beating other kids with their own ingenuity and/or skill"? If so, I'm cool with it. - Was it a coach - 25yrs older than the kids - trying to make his di*k look big by cleverly outwitting children on technicalities that kids this age don't need to be focusing on? If so, that coach is an a-hole simply bullying kids. I favor the latter opinion and the coach is a tool. Maybe he'd like to sneak up on a kid and pull his pants down on the playground? ..or steal their lunch money too. Then all the girls would think he's dreamy and go to the malt shop with him. Politely disagree. A play like that is legal, and it keeps the kids on their toes about the rules. In the case of my son's teams, from then on no one tried to run such a play, and any kid that was present that day knows exactly what to do from now on. Maxman
Saw this video a few weeks ago. There are like 5 copies of this with 500k views on you tube. Lots of parents had the video ready I guess.
