Maxman
Anyone else feel this way? All year long we start threads speculating about future events. Yet right now it all seems on hold until the game on Monday. I won't dare think about what happens next, not until the outcome of this game is determined. Am I crazy? sirlancemehlot
This entire week has been brutal. Devouring every article. Listening to every broadcast. Twisting in the wind and waiting, waiting, waiting. Enough already! I can't stand it! Are they canceling Kate Plus Eight or aren't they!? Also, the Jets/Pats game should be interesting. Hope we win. That'd be nice.
GimmeShelter
Hopefully if the team loses a "road" game to NE it does not sink them mentally. I know some of the fanbase will be in sky is falling mode. While a loss will make the chances of a division title look bleak on Tuesday, both teams stil have tough opponents left on the schedule and the Jets could reclaim the division outright or via tie breakers. My biggest fear is that the Jets let a loss on Monday send them into a slide. Hopefully they get the W and this is a mute point.

Maxman
monday will bring devastating disappointment or absolute elation.. there is no middle ground. OY! True. There won't be much middle ground is a good way of putting it. Wild Card or hoping for the #1 seed. Oh my...
Drums
monday will bring devastating disappointment or absolute elation.. there is no middle ground. OY! I think there is definitely some middle ground. If we lose, but we battle them, we can still come away with confidence that we can beat them if and when we see them again. A few years ago the Giants played them week 17 and lost, but had the confidence that they could get it done and did in the Super Bowl. I have more confidence in the Jets as each day passes leading up to this game and I think we are the ones to stop them from getting to 26 wins at home, and if we don't, we're most likely getting the rubber match to settle it. I can't wait.

ThisYearsModel
You won't get much debate there. It is. Can't concentrate on anything else and the wait is excruciating. Would be really nice if they pick up the W.

pfilippone
My biggest fear is that the Jets let a loss on Monday send them into a slide. Now there is the SOJ mentality rearing its ugly head again. I can tell you with no hesitation: this is the strongest Jets team I have ever seen. And I go back to 1981! This team will never give up. Rex & Co. is for real! Book it.
