Maxman
I am looking to ugrade my youngest son's PC for Christmas. I actually have a licensed copy of Windows 7 so I am looking for a unit that doesn't have an O\S. He is only 7 years old, 8 in January so this doesn't have to be the best unit. Definitely looking to do this on the cheap. What do you think of this for $144.99 with an additional $20 for another gig of RAM. http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=WSYS199-PB-2R&cat=SYS
Bob
Looks like a winner, for a kid. Definitely add that gig of RAM. If he fools around with video, he might fill up that HD. Otherwise, it should be fine. Good find!
NJ
Looks good Phil - you can throw up to 4 gig of DDR2 into that so I'd "Max" it out. Seriously, I don't know how much ram 7 chews but Ram Is King.
Maxman
Thanks. I saw that it could take up to 4 gigs of RAM, but all he really does is play games online like club penguin. Probably will just stick with 2. Can always add more in later.

I don't know if vendors are delivering 32 or 64-bit these days.
